Almost 18 months post op, still happy!!!

WORTH IT
I was asked to post an update of my Mentor 405cc implants (I did not have a lift).
I haven't had any pain or major problems, but my right breast is experiencing a capsular contracture. This is more common that one would think, I later found out. My physician talked me through all the options, e.g., having the implant replaced sub-muscularly as opposed to currently sub-fascial/mammary. I am having no pain whatsoever and I can barely notice the appearance difference. So, for now I'll just wait and see.
I have had tons of compliments and remain please with my procedure, my physician, and my result.
Best to all!
Sincerely,
~Lorilei

Thank you for updating!! I hope the capsular contracture remains symptomless. Your boobs look great.
I hope this helped in your decision-making process, Christina. I could not bear the thought of loosing sensation in my nipples (from a lift) and my doc didn't think I needed one. He said I was "deflated" and my breasts just needed to be filled back up. ;) I'm happy. I wish you the best outcome possible!
Why did you decide over/sub-fascia? Is there concern the weight of them will make them sag faster since it's not behind the muscle? I had a BL/BA (7/2017) and my sensation went back and forth but ultimately no issues. Hope you're still enjoying your b@@bs!
I have the exact same implants and I DID get a lift - just wanted to say I STILL have sensation - feeling in my nipples so as long as nerves are not severed. (just in case you need or want in the future)..
This above 100%

Two Months Post-Op, Sooo Happy With My Result, Dr. Laverson, and Staff

I am doing very well and VERY happy with my breasts! I no longer need to wear the strap as my breasts’ upper pole fullness have resolved and the bottoms of my breasts (below the nipple) have “filled out.” I am really happy I did not need a lift—Dr. Laverson predicted only implants would be necessary to return fullness to my breasts with my nipples back to where they used to be. :) I thought I was sagging quite a bit and was advised by other physicians that I’d need a lift+implants. Please seek multiple opinions if you do (or don’t) want a particular procedure as there may be other ways to achieve the look you want. I’m sooo glad I found Dr. Laverson.
I am back to my regular yoga, swimming workouts, and other exercise. My nipples are still a tad tender, but I’m sure that will resolve soon. I can lie on my stomach without pain now, too.
I am a 34D, but I still have one sports bra that is 36C. It’s amazing to feel sexy and to fill out my t-shirts and dresses. Fun! I’ve received many compliments that my breasts look natural, fit my body well, and look fantastic.
I’d like to thank Dr.Laverson again and his caring staff—including Wonder Woman Ashley. :D He is truly a kind, caring doctor and will make you feel like the most important person in his practice when he works with you. My post-op appointments were incredible, the sincerity he possesses about your health, making sure your healing is going smoothly, and getting the results you want really impressed me. He went *far* beyond my expectations. I feel that I was sent a team of angels to help me Feel Beautiful. Thank you so very much.
I’m sending up lots good, healing energy as all of you beautiful women out there traverse your journeys.
Namaste. xo

Hi Zoleigh, This site has helped me immensely, so I wanted to share my journey here in hopes it would help someone. :) Thank you and I wish you well in your journey. ;)
Realself has been a huge help for me ... especially since this is the only place I can find information on Mentor Mod+ Xtra! :-)
Thank you again!
Lots of ❤️ To you!!
Hello!! If you could provide an updated photo of what your breasts look like now, I’d be so appreciative!! I look similar to your before and I’ve gotten a lot of feedback that I need a lift and I think your results are fantastic.
I posted a current photo for you. I hope this helps in your journey. xo

42 days post-op, feeling great! Very happy with my result. :D

My healing journey has gone very well. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Laverson and his staff! I am very pleased with the shape, size, the fast healing of my scars, and commitment of Dr. Laverson to ensure I am having a good result.
About 2.5 weeks post-op, Dr. Laverson had me start wearing a strap that passes behind my back and over the upper pole (top) of my breasts. The intention was to bring my breasts closer together, reduce swelling, and to increase the “plumpness” of the breast below my nipples. I can see the change over the past few weeks. I wore it 24/7 for almost two weeks, then just at night since then.
My breasts are softening and feeling more like my own. :) Yoga was difficult only because I’ve taken off about 5 weeks. I felt weak, but am getting my strength back quickly. Swimming has also been difficult for the same reason, but at this point I’m close to where I was before surgery. Yay. I’ve received lots of compliments and am feeling almost back to my prior self, except that my nipples are still a bit sore. But, hey, I can feel them so that’s awesome! ;)
Best to all you beautiful women out there!

You look great! Glad to hear all is well and you are happy! I’m getting a little nervous with my upcoming surgery with the Mentor Xtra. It maybe more because there isn’t a lot of information and pictures on them. The projection is what has me concerned, lol. I’m sure they will be fine as I have an excellent surgeon but yikes, lol. I was planning on the Moderate plus but was told high profile would look great on me and the moderate plus would make me look to wide on top and wouldn’t look good at all. I want the natural slope and cleavage and was told I will still get that with the HP so we shall see :)
Thank you very much! I’m very happy with my result. I’m glad you found a surgeon you trust. I love my PS, he suggested my implant type and I’m really pleased! Go for it and I’ll be looking forward to seeing your progress. ;)
hi they look great! I am having a revision and am interested in the mentor Xtra. I heard they don’t feel soft and wondering what you think? also are you dual plane, sub muscular or sub glandular?
My implants are sub glandular. About their softness, I think they are soft and have compliments. But, they are my first “set” so I have nothing to compare them to. ;) I am very happy with how they feel to the touch and my overall look. I hope that helped. Best to you with your procedure. :)
Thank you. I was sub glandular with saline for 19 years, then sub muscular - dual plan with 500 cc HP silicone, switched out for 400 cc HP silicone - but have the worst muscle animation and window shading and symmastia. Going back for more surgery hoping to resolve all, and like the idea of the extra implants. So glad they are working for you - they look great!
thank you for your compliments. I appreciate them!Thank you for sharing your journey. I hope my implants last 19 years. :) I wish you all the best!
