WORTH IT
After consulting with three plastic surgeons, I chose Dr. Blake Sparks, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
One of my biggest goals was achieving a very natural result. I specifically wanted a smaller, elegant enhancement—not an obviously augmented look. During my consultation, Dr. Sparks took a lot of time discussing sizing, looking at photos, and understanding exactly what I was hoping to achieve. Although she explained that my frame could accommodate much larger implants, she never tried to upsell me or push me toward a size that wasn’t aligned with my goals.
We planned for Motiva Ergonomix Demi implants placed subfascially, and she ordered a range of implant sizes to evaluate during surgery. When I woke up, she told me she had chosen the smaller implant because it best matched the look I wanted. That immediately confirmed I had chosen the right surgeon. She truly listened.
I was also incredibly impressed by her bedside manner. Dr. Sparks is warm, compassionate, and never made me feel rushed. Having a female surgeon who understands both the technical and emotional side of these procedures made the entire experience much more comfortable for me.
One of the biggest surprises was the recovery. Before surgery, I was honestly terrified of the pain after reading so many stories online. My experience was the complete opposite. I had very little pain, was off pain medication quickly, and my recovery has been much easier than I ever expected. By my first couple of post-op visits, I already felt like myself again.
Her office and in-house surgical facility are beautiful, organized, and professional, and having direct access to my surgeon during recovery made the process incredibly reassuring.
I’m still healing, but even this early I’m thrilled with my experience and would choose Dr. Sparks again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a surgeon who values natural results, listens to what you want, and provides exceptional care from consultation through recovery, I highly recommend her.
