Motiva Demi 170cc over the muscle - mini boob job

Real self has been so so helpful in the run up to my Ba so I thought I would pay it forward - a huge thank you to all the other girls that posted about their BA journey particularly those under 200cc!
My stats: 5ft7, 55kg started completely flat and got 170cc motiva joy Demi over the muscle implants. My goal was a Kendall Jenner style petite chest! Currently feeling no boon greed - excited for them to settle into their final position.
I was concerned about rippling going over the muscle but the surgeon reassured me that I had enough breast tissue (at least 2cm) to go over the muscle and from my research motiva joy had really low risks of rippling.
The surgery itself was a breeze - went out for lunch the next day and stopped taking paracetamol after day 2!

It’s been 3 weeks today and feeling great! Started driving again at 16 days and now have normal range of motion. I stoped sleeping upright at about 10 days and have stopped wearing the compression strap at around 10 days too (mainly because the surgeon said I can start wearing sports bras at the one week check up - and I found it so hard to dress with the strap on as you could see the outline through everything -although I’ve been wearing my compression bras still)
Was hoping I could start the silicone scar sheets but I think I have to wait for the scabs to fall off first??
Really happy with the size - it’s exactly what I wanted. I look the same size in clothes as i used to wear padded bras that were too big all the time. But in a bikini and sports bra I already feel so much more confident. I’ve not really had any boob greed - only when I’ve had a big meal and my stomach is bigger than my boobs!!
I do hope they fill out on the bottom more though!

You look absolutely amazing! So glad you're happy with your results. I'm a similar size to you originally and just booked my surgery for for May, I'm thinking around 250cc (dual plane), but I'm really torn between Motiva Round or Ergonomix. Am I right in thinking Joy is Ergonomix and would you be able to advise on how you made your decision please? Thank you so much!

Thank you that is so kind! yes Joy is Ergonomix 2 (not 1), i went over the muscle so I think the ergonomix would have given me a more natural slope at the top compared to round as i had hardly any tissue. Also the Joy is meant to be really soft and I think enables for a smaller incision - not sure what the case is for the round - they call it "minimal scar" technique. After i showed the surgeon my ideal outcome photos he immediately suggested Joy ( photos of kendall jenner and renee herbert). But if you are going dual plane would the muscle kind of provide the effect that ergonomix has but with a round implant if its pressing down?? not sure! I guess depends on the level of upper pole fullness you want? :)

Looking so good!! I'm curious if you know your BWD?

Not too sure - i will find out, but i do remember thinking the diameter of the implant was quite a bit smaller than my width - was intially worried they would be too narrow

8 weeks and feeling a bit stressed

Hi all, I’m now over 8 weeks post op. Still happy with the size and have had no rippling, implants are really soft as well.
Although feeling a bit down and confused by the middle bit - my implants are really close together (which is fine - means I get cleavage), but the sternum area is lifted. And I don’t know if this is normal swelling or if I’m developing symmastia / tenting / uniboob. I see it’s really rare to develop this especially early on and which such a small implant size as it’s usually caused by implants that are too large. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? Hoping it’s just swelling and it will go down :( although I know this is so minor and I shouldn’t be worried about it - but it’s hard not to

How are you doing now? I’m so grateful for your posts.

hope the posts are useful! feeling a bit down tbh because of the middle area. But I know i don't 'hate' it enough to even consider a revision - its too early to tell. Its something I would notice but don't think its bad enough for others to tell?!

Have you raised your concerns with your surgeon? Do you have another check in?
Maybe they need to settle more which will make them sit differently. I would think most swelling has gone down by this point but I know it can be different for each person. I would just raise it with your surgeon if you haven't already and hopefully they give you some peace of mind! It's not fair that you have to sit with these concerns.

hiya, I sent the hospital / clinic some photos today so will see what they say. Hopefully you're right and they need a bit longer to settle down - although like you said - i think swelling should be gone by now especially with OTM... Thanks for your message - feels reassuring to have some people to talk to on here!
