1 year and 9 months post op
Just a quick update after nearly 2 years post-op.
Looks: honestly they look good, I am more proportioned with my hips and butt and they look great under clothes or with a sports bra or form fitting tops.
Feel: this is where I’m conflicted. They’re not as soft as I thought they would be softer even after nearly 2 years and the softest silicone available. They don’t jiggle or feel as natural as real boobs. If I could do it over I would have gone with a smaller implant but I would’ve added fat transfer.
When I’m lying on my back they are actually still quite hard and very firm, when I raise my arms the skin that stretches over the girls is still tight. Maybe after more time and the skin stretches a bit more they will settle further and become softer.
When I jump, run or shimmy, they don’t bounce or jiggle like real boobs. They actually feel a little bit like mini torpedoes, The nipple situation requires thick nipple tape even under a thicker bra or sports bra because mine protrude a LOT. Embarrassingly.
When standing naked they feel more natural. But it still feels like there’s a foreign object in my body.
Now almost 2 years in - in retrospect I wish I would’ve gone with a smaller implant since I didn’t have much fat to begin with. The natural fat is what would make it feel more natural.
I feel as though I went from one problem which was too small and not proportioned - to too big and too hard/firm. Sigh…#firstworldproblems.
Knowing what I know now I probably would not have gone through with the BA. And at my age when I have them removed in 10-15 years I’ll be left with saggy skin and deflated boobies. :-(

1 Year Post-Op - UPDATE from small B to full C
Just wanted to post what the girls look like after a full year of recovery and my thoughts on my BA Journey, in retrospect.
They've softened up a lot over the past year, they're now more jiggly and the skin has stretched significantly. However, when I raise my arms - they're still pretty hard and they don't really bounce like real breasts when I run or jump. I think they look quite nice in photos, but in person, they're obviously hard when I touch them still.
I've pretty much had to reconfigure my wardrobe. I have a narrow frame, and used to be able to wear cute little tops with my small B cups. But now, the chest area is too tight and I had to toss them all away and make room for new tops. I have to be careful with bathing suits as well, because i've got up a size now compared to before.
I still find them too big and don't think they look very natural on me. So I'm considering an explant surgery and use fat grafting instead for a full B cup rather than a full C.
I wish I loved them as much as I thought I would. Do your research and find the best surgeon you can afford. Someone who has a great reputation and experience. More importantly - if you can - feel someone's implants to know what you're getting yourself into. If i had known they'd be so hard even a year later, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble and spent so much time and money. :(
