Currently have my BA scheduled with Dr. Lista on Nov 20th. I've been browsing Real Self for months since deciding on having a BA and want to share my own journey, ask questions and get your feedback as well!
I have been so back and for with this decision. I have had small (underdeveloped) breasts my entire life that I've been self conscious of. Since breastfeeding my son there is literally nothing left but skin and a nipple. I never thought I was the "type of person" to get a boob job but then I realized the hell with it! You only live once and I want to live knowing what it's like to actually feel like a woman! I feel so childish with no breasts whatsoever.
Anyway I am leaning towards 385cc high profile! Thoughts on size? I'm worried about going too big because I'm used to nothing there. But also feel like if I'm paying big bucks I better damn well get my dream boobs!! Lol. Oh and procedure will be under the muscle armpit incision, mentor implants.

Some before photos...

Almost 2 months away from surgery so wanted to share some before photos - it's so sad! I feel like there is literally nothing there at all - there never was - and that I look like such a kid/boy. Can't wait to get actual boobies!! Even if they are made of silicone ;)
Hopefully by sharing my journey I will connect with some of you who are in the same boat and we can support each other through this exciting yet nerve wracking time!!

You are so similar to where I started, mine were bit baggier!! lol I had overs so different if going under. You said you have no natural fold, I didn't on my left side which was lower but didn't matter, I think on here the fold incision seems the easiest in recovery but others who've had different may like to comment. For straightforward implants it's worth considering as u will form a natural fold - check out my review if u wish - my B4 and after are a bit further along my time line as a comparison :)

Thanks for your insight!! I guess my only concern with under the fold is having the scar there in the event that something went horribly wrong and I had to get an explant. I am a huge worrier so trying to think further down the road if there were complications and I had to get rid of them i think I'd rather the scar hidden in my armpit ?? But I don't know!! If it's an easier recovery that's definitely more tempting ! I checked out your review - you have amazing results! Congrats on your journey :)

Questions about sizing and results
tofeellikeawomanSeptember 16, 2017
Two things I'm wondering if anyone comes across my profile and wants to give their two cents :)
1. Based on my current body/anatomy does it look like my breasts are wide set?? I'm hoping they will be closer together after surgery so I can actually have cleavage
2. My right is bigger than the left but only slightly and there was no mention at the last consult whether or not I need two different sizes to even them out - thoughts???

Hey there! :) our BAs are scheduled around the same time - mine will be around Nov 18 :) I am also a small A cup (boo). I share your excitement hahaha - it's pretty much all I think about!
To answer your questions (and I am no expert!) I think you may be ever so slightly wider-spaced. As for cleavage, the implant has to sit directly below your nipple so it depends on how large you're going - I assume the higher the profile the "closer" your cleavage will appear. But it depends on the shape of your chest wall as well - if it's slightly barrelled or not. Maybe raise this concern with your surgeon and request some 3D scans so you can better visualise where they'll sit :)
If the asymmetry is only really subtle, then it's up to you if you wish to have it corrected. My surgeon asked me if my (really minimal) asymmetry bothered me enough to go with 2 different sizes. But I decided to leave them as is - boobies are sisters, not twins ;)
So I think it's completely up to you, and if your surgeon hasn't mentioned it I'd just assume he doesn't think it's too much of a problem aesthetically. :) No harm in pointing it out and asking his opinion though!

Thanks for your insight and congrats on your BA journey :D! It's so exciting !! And yes all I think about is boobs, all I look at is boobs lol. More than a teenage boy probably!!! Thanks for your recommendations - I will be having a second consult where I can ask more of the specific questions. What size/type of implants are you getting?!

Hi, mine were asymmetrical in size with fold in different places and on my B4 and after you can see it shows but to be honest I don't notice it and didn't have different size implants - I had HP as my PS said these give more volume with less width - mine only meet in a push together bra but I didn't want more side boob!! I had overs which may be different to unders - good luck choosing! :)

Oh and I decided on the armpit because I have pretty much zero fold currently. I know I will have one after the BA but I like the idea of the scar being hidden as well. My friend had hers done with Lista and did it that way so I guess I'm just following in her footsteps :)
Did you try on sizers?!
