It's happening, boob job in t-minus 15 hours, eeek! Reviews on realself helped me gain the courage to finally get this procedure, so I want to share my experience in hopes that it'll help someone else too. I'll share more about the process I went through pre-op, and lots of post-op updates! For now, I'll upload some before pics and share my measurements; I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, bra size is 32AA. I'm just going for a full B cup, so I decided (with the help of Dr. Ehret) to go with Sientra 210cc silicone moderate profile.

I think it's always great when somebody chooses a size that is right for their frame.

Thanks, I really hope it turns out how I wanted and that I don't regret not going a little bigger. We shall see! Your results look great btw :)

I'm about your size pre-surgery and struggling to decide between 210ccs and 240ccs and I want to look natural. Now that is been a bit of time, how are you feeling about your size? Looks great!

It's such a hard decision for sure! Honestly, there are times that I wish I went a little bigger, but I'm happy with my 210s because I didn't want my boob job to be super obvious to everyone, and they feel really natural like this is the size they should've grown to be naturally, if that makes sense. But later on down the road when it comes time for a revision, I think I would like to go a size bigger haha.
I say go for the bigger size if you're not worried about what people will think and you want some more cleavage to show off! But if you're worried about them feeling too big, the 210s are modest and comfortable. They're small boobs but it's so nice to have something when there was nothing before. :)
Thanks for your comment, hope that is helpful, and I wish you good luck!!

All the pre-surgery things

Back story:
Ever since elementary school I thought, "I can't wait to get older and have boobs! I'm gonna look great!" Then middle school came and I got bullied a lot for being so flat chested. In highschool I still had nothing, and I thought, "maybe they'll grown in during college." But still nothing in college, so thought, "maybe getting boobs can be my graduation gift to myself." But right after graduation I got married! From the very beginning I told my husband I wanted a breast augmentation, but he wasn't very supportive of it, saying "that's so expensive and I love the way your body is now" which is sweet and all...but I kept bugging him about it and 5 years later he finally said "hey, if you really want this, let's do it." Yay!

Consults:
I did 2 consults, I really wanted someone closer than Seattle (I know there are great Drs there but I don't really like going to Seattle and their prices are a bit higher than I wanted to pay). At the first consult (which cost $100) the Dr said "in your case, we would have to go under the muscle, but I really don't like going under the muscle." He kept emphasizing that, so I didn't feel too confident picking him.
My next consult was with Dr. Ehret, and I immediately felt more comfortable and confident in chosing him as my surgeon. He explained some things and kept asking if I had any questions. I didn't try on any sizers, since I already had with the other Dr I guess the nurse didn't think it was necessary. There was no consult fee, and when they took me back to discuss the cost, it was surprisingly less than the first Dr I saw and I didn't feel pressured at all to make a decision right away. All of the staff made me feel comfortable and welcome.

Pre-op:
The pre-op with Dr. Ehret went by super fast. He went over all the medications he was going to prescribe to me (11 total!) and took measurements and looked through all the implant guides and said "will 255cc Sientra high profile be ok?" And I said sure, all I knew was that 265cc felt way too big when I tried it on at the other place.

Right before surgery:
A few days after pre-op, I kinda freaked out about the size we picked (255cc.) I tried on rice sizers at home and 255cc-ish felt sooo big on me, then I tried 200cc-ish and that felt way more comfortable. So I called Dr. Ehret's office to see if I could come in and try on sizers just to be more sure. The staff was really nice and understanding, and they squeezed me in the week before surgery. I ended up waiting to see Dr for 2 hours that day because he was running behind on a surgery, but it was ok. He apologized a lot and was so kind and helped me decide on 210cc Sientra moderate profile.

Thanks a lot for your detailed description! I'm in the early process of everything, but have already had a cosultation. I didn't feel that I really found my size during the consultation and was really surprised when you first wrote that you was going to have a high profile, as was recommended moderate (and I'm flat-chested as well). Then I read further on, and see you ended up with the moderate one, which makes me feel a lot more confident on my Dr's recommendation. Now I just have to find the size, which is SO diffifcult as here (in the Arctic, Northern Norway) they do not have all the sizes available to try on, so the Dr said she will order two different ones that she feels is the best suitable after our talks. And then she said something that worries me: "If I see during the operation that one of them doesn't look good I will go for the other". How can I trust that me and her feels the same? She was really interested in how I wanted them to feel, and I feel that she listened to my thoguths about it all, but can I let her choose for me? Or maybe it won't matter, as I would never know the difference? She is after all the pro. Well, anyway, thanks so much for sharing. I look forward to following your rehab process, as I can really relate to you! Thanks a lot!

Hi there! Glad my experience can be of some help :) when I went back to try sizers on again, all they had was 250cc and 200cc... Not much options for me either but I just felt so much more comfortable with the 200cc. Maybe try on some DIY rice sizers at home? I kept them on as I did things around the house just to see how I'd feel with them. I've heard other stories similar to yours where the surgeon will pick between 2 sizes at the time of the surgery...but I totally understand you feeling nervous about that! I guess you would have to be prepared to come out with either size, like you genuinely like both options (like maybe there's not much difference between cc's). Anywho, excited for you and wish you the best!! :)

Congrats on your journey and for sharing - clearly it's making a difference. I was super confused about the sizing for my BA too, and went back three times to try on different sizes -- now mind you, this was after wearing "chicken cutlets and rice bags" of various sizes for a year!! I am a big larger than some of the folks who post here (5'8" and 135 lbs) - I have a very wide chest and broad shoulders, so I was told I could carry more.

You seemed to make the right decision for you - but my advice to @Affectionate6231 is to try sizing within 50 cc and know that 50cc is only 3 tablespoons - you'll be happy with either. I am so glad I went a little larger than I originally intended (345cc, Natrelle, moderate profile). I am 3 months post-op and SO HAPPY with my decision and finally "pulling the trigger". Be happy with your Dr. and the Team, make a decision on size for yourself, and put confidence out there!! Kawaiipumpkin - thanks for sharing!

Surgery day!

I was sooo nervous on surgery day! My check in time was 11 and surgery was supposed to start at 12. So I woke up a little later than usual (so that hopefully I wouldn't be too starving, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, ugh) and showered with my hibiclens and then we were on our way! My hubby waited with me in the lobby but he wasn't allowed back when they called me to go prep and get drawn on. And no cell phones so I wasn't allowed to take any more pictures or anything. I got changed into a gown, grippy socks, put my clothes in a locker, and I also I had to take a pregnancy test (negative, yay!) Then they had me recline in a comfy chair behind curtains, and said Dr was about 30 min behind. It was really busy there - another Dr was also doing surgeries, people were coming and going so fast. One of the nurses stopped by to put in my IV (just with saline) and the anesthesiologist stopped by to greet me. Dr Ehret stopped by to draw on me quickly. Then another nurse came to help me walk back to the OR (she was so sweet, she kept her arm around me which was really comforting) All I remember was her helping me onto the table, Dr was getting ready and loud music was playing, and the anesthesiologist said "ok I'm gonna make you feel really good now!" And after that I woke up to a couple nurses helping me get dressed. I was sooo sleepy and out of it, not really sure how I made in onto the wheelchair or into my car lol. When we got home my hubby started giving me my meds right away, but I couldn't stay awake more than like 10 min at a time. I do remember Dr. Ehret calling me around 8:30pm to see how I was doing! I thought that was so sweet and caring. I told him I was just so sleepy and he said that might be normal for the next few days.
