I’m a 39yo, 5’6”, 175lb, mother of two who breastfed for a total of 5 years. I’m scheduled for my BA in 9 days! I opted for no lift at this time as I was told by two board certified plastic surgeons that I’m on the borderline but that it isn’t necessary. Plus the scars freak me out and I’m ok with a little bit of sag. I don’t need to look 20, but 30 would be nice! Feeling excited but nervous. Send good vibes!

Good luck! I had by breast augmentation yesterday. Similar stats as yours. Take it easy and take the pain meds. Best to you!!!

I'm having ba next Tuesday. 325cc mentor siltex and I also did not want a lift. I am on the border too. I lost 25 pounds plus in past breastfed. So my skin is loose. I am confident I will be ok without a lift and if not can always get another operation

I have my Mentor Siltex implants for 24 years with no issues at all. My breasts are still soft and perfect shape but they are getting up in age as am I…70.5 years old. I have decided to have them exchanged for new set next month and still stay with Mentor Siltex. This will be my third set.,,the first set were Mentor Smooth round and I did have some capsular contraction but not sever enough to remove them, I had the first set for 20 years. My surgeon opted for the Siltex because of my past scar tissue issues. I am interested in hearing if you or others have had similar success with Siltex or if they had issues?
Thanks
Nancy

Finally had surgery yesterday. I went for pre-op at 9, OR at 10, and left the hospital about 1:30. I mostly slept. Even though they’re subglandular, my muscles kill when trying to get out of bed. Today, Post Op Day 1 has been pretty brutal. If I have any advice it’s to stay on top of our pain meds.

Today was better. It’s still rough getting out of bed and the first few minutes of walking around can be painful. I was able to leave the house and go eat lunch, visit my in laws, and make a quick trip to the store. At the store I started to hurt and when I got home I took a 2 our nap. I feel like the swelling is worse today under my arms and it itches like the dickens. They’re looking better today though, not so squareish in the upper poles.
