WORTH IT
I recently underwent breast augmentation with Dr. Il Beom Seo, rhinoplasty with Dr. Kim, and eyelid surgery with Dr. Suh at Marble Plastic Surgery. Dr. Il Beom Seo was like a kind grandfather figure—the most gentle surgeon I have ever met. He carefully created a natural breast shape, managing implant positioning and compression to minimize discomfort and ensure proper healing. Dr. Kim spent a lot of time on my double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty, and ptosis correction, helping me decide the best shape and angle for my nose. I didn’t even realize how many subtleties there were until he walked me through them, and his attention to detail made me feel completely confident. Dr. Suh’s skillful approach to my eyelids gave me a beautifully balanced, natural result.
Recovery in the first week was challenging. Swelling, tight compression, and limited mobility made even simple movements difficult, and chest tightness required careful attention and dressing adjustments. Pain was generally manageable with Tylenol, gentle movement, and wearing nipple pasties to decrease my hypersensitivity. Over time, my mobility improved, and I could perform daily activities with increasing comfort. We aimed to walk 10,000 steps per day. I think one of the hardest things for me was not eating salty food. I was craving fried chicken on day 3, and ate half a piece. The next day my face swelled up like a balloon. Now it has been 30 days, and I have not eaten any more fried chicken since that incident. The salt was not worth the swelling!
Heekyung, the patient care coordinator and translator, was absolutely amazing. She was always available via text. I texted her an emergency message at midnight and she responded! She promptly checked in with the doctors whenever I had concerns, coordinated follow-ups, and ensured I understood every instruction. Her support made navigating recovery in a foreign country far less stressful.
Now that it has been 30 days, the swelling has reduced significantly, my results are taking shape beautifully, and I feel more confident each day. Marble Plastic Surgery combines surgical expertise with exceptional patient care, making the entire process reassuring and smooth. I highly recommend them!
