Lot of Pics! Don’t Be Afraid of Changes! Love Yourself! Sebbin Micro Texture Rt260cc/lt240cc, Anatomical
I started to notice that my friends breast grew much faster than mine since I was 14. I developed a lot of insecurities in my younger years. As a grown woman I realized that having small-sized breasts wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be in my late 20’s however, I wanted bigger breasts and couldn’t wait longer and got them done as soon as I had the money saved up.
Last March I started to search for “my” surgeon in the city I live. I contacted a lot and consulted a lot but couldn’t find a specialist to whom I could trust all 100%. According to the statistics, 60% of patients of all those surgeons got revision surgery few years later and the cost for that is absurd. Obviously, I wasn’t satisfied with my research, so I decided to go far beyond the states and very soon I found a surgeon in Seoul.
He was quite an experienced surgeon in Korea. To my surprise he was even on real self. I got an opportunity to take a look at before/after of his work, to see how breast looks after a certain amount of time (couple of months, half a year, a year, 2 years, few years). Although, my communication with him was limited, I was able to communicate everything from up until and after my procedure through a translator his clinic provided. I spoke w/ a few clinics in Korea as well as in Singapore. The back n forth between the clinics via messenger until I made my decision to come here was around 3 weeks. The two main reasons I decided to come to Korea aside from my choice of surgeon was:
1) They had many more before pics of Asian women with similar profiles to mine
2) The cost of the procedure including flight/hotel was still cheaper than a few of the surgeons in my area.
I arrived in Seoul a day before my consultation. I spoke absolutely zero Korean but I found it was quite easy to get to my destination via bus and taxi using only English. My hotel was the Le Meridien Marriot which was about a 5-7 minute walk to Regen and also very close to some of the other clinics I visited. The building didn’t seem too new but their interior was just as nice as any other clinic in Korea, and much nicer than that of the states. I met with their English consultant who already knew what I was there for and she just took some additional information and I waited around 20 minutes to see Dr. Lee.
My first impression of Dr. Lee in person was very good. He smiles quite a bit, I kind of think it was to compensate for not understanding my English when I spoke. We did have a very capable translator though. Since I already showed him pics of the type of breasts I would like, he broke everything down for me on what I would need to get the type I wanted. He explained around 3 different implant types and their ingredients, how much they were and the benefits for each type. I went with Sebbin microtexture implants, 260cc on my right, 240cc on my left inserted through an 2inch incision under each armpit. I also needed to remove some accessory breast tissue on each side to give my breasts a rounder look once the implants were in. Other surgeons did not mention the need to remove extra tissue and Dr. Lee said doing this would not increase the cost which greatly influenced my decision to get my procedure done by him.
I scheduled my procedure with Dr. Lee on the 31st of July but I also had to go there the day before for a few tests.
Surgery day was very nerve-wrecking. Couldn’t actually believe I was getting work done up until the anesthesia kicked in and then I remember waking up with a bandaged chest with some pain.
I had a hemo bag with a tube that was pulling in blood from the operated area that they removed after two days or so. I actually asked if I could remove it after 1 day but they insisted another day since I had to stay there another night. The day after that they put dressing on the incision area under my arms which were quite sore up until that point but manageable. I had to redress the area 4 days later and I got a few prescriptions meds to take orally. At week 2, I got my stitches out and a final check from Dr. Lee and was allowed to head to my country.
So directly after the procedure, I could feel my breast were much heavier. I could not help but touch them through the bandaging even though it hurt. I wanted to take them off really bad to check the positioning of my nipples which was one of my biggest worries. When the bandages finally came off I was so happy, they were perfect. Slight bruising on the top part of the breast on my left side that was a bit yellowish but I wasn’t as bad as it looked. I wasn’t allowed to wear a normal bra for a couple of weeks but when I was able, I tried on a few that I brought to Korea with me that I bought beforehand. My chest definitely has a defined cleavage now without even trying and looks very natural from the side as well. My areola and nipple positioning is perfect to my taste, slightly centered a bit on the outer breast. It took about 5-6 weeks for all the swelling /bruising to disappear but they felt great at week 4. My best friend was the first to see my boobs and she was quite envious.
Now it’s been 8 months already and I’m more than happy with my results! My body has become more balanced, more feminine! Breast softness is exactly the same as it was before.
P.s. All I wanted to tell you girls is – don’t be afraid of changes! After all, you do it for yourself! And you have to love yourself and be confident! And if you think that the surgery will give you that feeling, just go for it!
