I have wanted this to happen since the age of 18, I finally took the plunge and I had my op on the 7th January 2019, everything was amazing! The nurses were brilliant, Dr Irshad was really informative and made me feel at ease when I got anxious just before going into surgery. They kept checking on me often, making sure I was well hydrated and gave me a yummy lunch. Everything went swimmingly and I feel great today. I feel slight pressure on my chest and a tiny bit of stinging at the incision area; but that is very mild. I’m taking it easy and just re reading all of the information packs you get given just before you leave. Beryl (my consultant and owner of Transpire) is absolutely fabulous. She has been and continues to be there at any point when I need to have a chat or need to ask any questions. Even when I have asked what I deem to be a silly question she has replied instantly and lifted any anxiety I have before and after the op. I am so happy I went with Transpire instead of one of the big company’s. I felt like I was just a number instead of a human being going through something that is important and life changing. I had 5 consultations in total with many well known company’s, some of which have huge online presence. I decided to choose Transpire because they genuinely care about you and your well being. With Transpire I have felt 100% confidant and cared for at all times and continue to on this amazing journey. An A* company.

UPDATED FROM Pusheen19
10 days post
9 days post op dressing change update.
I am now on the 10th day post op but I had my dressings removed yesterday. I’ve only just found some time to gather the photos and update you guys. I felt a little apprehensive before going to see the district nurse. Finally seeing the incisions and my boobs with no tape around them was a big deal! They look great though! So pleased with the shape and size. I was a little worried about the left incision though as it is a little more swelled than the right. I have been having more pain in my left breast throughout my recovery stage too but I have been good overall. The nurse said I was a fast healer!
The main discomfort/pain was day 2/3 for me just the pressure on my chest and the slight stinging at my incision area. Sleeping was frustrating, I’ve been sleeping with my V pillow propped up so Ive been getting some back pain when I wake up.
I would say the morning is the worst pain of the day. Just the pressure on my chest and my muscles feeling stiff from little movement throughout the night. I started to set alarms for my painkillers and that made the days more manageable.
So 4 days post op I thought I was great, ready to hit the shops. Took a Painkiller as normal and went on my way. Travelling in the car was the worst, if you haven’t got a car with great shock absorbers then you will feel some discomfort. It’s just all them darn pot holes!! It’s the bouncing movement that seems to put more stress on your tattas! Shopping was fine. I managed 4 hours of walking around before I suddenly realised I was knackered and my boobs started to feel quite sore. So holding my girls up I slowly walked back to the car. I went home and realised I had over exerted myself as I was getting shooting pains in my left breast and I just felt really tired. So it was 2 full days of Netflix and chill (but literally haha) after that rest the pain subsided and I began to feel more like myself again. Girls do take it easy!
Overall I would say it’s hit and miss, you can feel fine for a few hours and then just really struggle with niggling pain or find it hard to get comfy.
So you will struggle with little things like getting up out of bed, walking around at a normal speed (I literally felt like an old lady somedays haha) reaching to get something near by. Just all the little things you don’t usually think twice about. (Also a good tip for you. Wear a warm jumper if you venture out as you tense your muscles if it’s cold and it does hurt your tattas a little)
So it’s day 10 and I feel great. It’s still frustrating to travel in a car but it’s a lot easier now than it was on day 4. My incisions are a little painful but mainly when I walk around too much. Still trying to take it easy! Like the nurse informed me. No reaching high for stuff or making my bed etc. She said she met a girl who had popped a stitch out dues to her reaching over her bed. Eurgh! Didn’t sound pleasant! ????
Anyway I am so happy with my girls! I know the incision scars will improve over time and I’m just excited to try new bras! I tortured my self today by walking around Boux Avenue! Don’t do it girls, just don’t do it to yourself. Anyway I will update you guys in a few days and do some more progress photos. If anyone has any questions ask me anything! I’m an open book...:) much love.

thanks for the great tips! you look great! my surgery is in just over a week ahhh!!

Thanks rose417, My scars are getting better everyday and it does feel weird to take off my bra to shower as my skin is still stretching to accommodate the new girls hehe. How are you feeling? I was a mixture of excitement and nerves. I'm a worrier though, but seriously I had nothing to worry about. Once you are there and getting sorted they get you in pretty fast and the anesthesiologist looks after you. I went out so fast and then not long after I woke up in a private room were i began chatting away to the nurse (this is how the anesthetic effected me) haha. Are you prepared with pillows, bras etc? what size is the implant you have chosen? Its such an exciting time!!

January 20, 2019
yay so exciting to hear things are getting better everyday. I wish Icould fast forward to 10 days post!! I'm a HUGE worry wart. So I am exploding inside with anxiety. I've never been put under so I'm scared about never waking up lol. I am getting 295/345 cc (to fix asymmetry) I have a tonne of pillows ready. As far as bras they told me only to wear their post surgical bra for like 3 months!! I guess ishould still get other bras for when that one is being washed? what brand other bras did you get?

January 20, 2019
I was exactly the same. It was my first time being put under and I literally had the same thoughts but they are professionals and know what they are doing. They do thousands of them every year. I was going to get Macon ones but they are pretty expensive so I got one post op bra from amazon and 4 bras from marks and Spencer’s. 2 post op bras and 2 sports bras that a few people recommended as they are basically post op bras. With the post op bras from MnS you get the VAT knocked off the price so they are £20 each. They are really comfortable and I change mine every other day...I suppose every surgeon is different though. I have to leave mine on for 6 weeks. But I couldn’t shower for 10 days (well wash my breast area properly) as I couldn’t stand not showering. It will go so fast and you will be in recovery in no time at all! I’m looking forward to seeing your before and after (if you’re posting them) everything is going to go great for you. Try not to overthink it all. I know how you feel as I did the same thing. Super happy so far though!

January 20, 2019
that is comforting to hear thanks!!! yeah I should get some more front closing bras. and some sport bras. can i ask you what size bra you thinking you will be and what size were you before?
and I for sure will be posting all the pics!!

I think i will be a 34D, I am currently alternating between the 36D and the 34D just because the 36D is slightly looser and is sometimes more comfy for sleeping in. I was a 34B before but the one of the Surgeons measured me at an 34A so i was super confused as id always been measured at a 34B. I Currently fill out the 34D very well but find it slightly tight so who knows. i'm not sure how much swelling there is left as i feel like most of it has gone down. Fingers crossed though as i was hoping to be a small D. What are you looking to be?

January 21, 2019
I am currently wearing b34 and have for years but sometimes it can be a little loose on the cups me depending on the brand. I'm hoping to be a small D at most. I have BIG fears of being too big and top heavy. what's your height and weight?

January 23, 2019
I don't think you will be too big at all. I'm sure you have discussed with your surgeon and he/she has said what would be best for your shape. I also think the size you are getting is perfect for you if you are a similar frame to me. I think the size I have are just perfect for my figure and they look natural. I am 5''4 ft and I weigh 9 stone. I am a size 8-10 in jeans and a 6-8 in tops; although now its more like an 8 because of the girls haha. I'll post some more pics soon, I had another check up with the district nurse and she said they look really good and the incision on the left looks so much better now. I can see that they are starting to drop slightly too so i'm sooo excited about that :) What date is your surgery hun? I'd just like to make sure I know so I can wish you well on the day and you can message me anytime if you think I can ease your mind about something after the big day.

January 23, 2019
Sorry my response was delayed, I wrote out the reply on my phone and forgot to press send! haha

January 24, 2019
I googled what 9 stone is converted into pounds and we totally exactly the same weight and height!! my surgery is Monday Jan 28th!! Cant wait to see your new pics! happy to hear they are already dropping some!!

January 24, 2019
See that’s brill! You will probably get a similar result, at least you have an idea about what the final result could be. Everyone does come out with a different look though depending on your breasts atm. Are you going under or over the muscle? I went over as the surgeon said I had enough breast tissue. You will look gorgeous!...Also If you have been offered Arnica tablets I wouldn’t bother taking them. I was offered them but the nurse said that it wasn’t that important unless you are smoking as smokers tend to bruise easily, apparently. They are meant to reduce bruising, but I didn’t have any bruising, not that I could see anyway.

January 25, 2019
I was a smoker for 13 ish years but quit 24 days ago woooo. I totally do bruise easily! the arnica tablets were very cheap so i do not mind. I am going under the muscle. You are lucky to be going over! I feel like recovery shouldbe easier that way!

A lot of the pain has gone now and I just feel a bit of sensitivity around my nipples and certain areas of my breast as I’m slowly getting the feeling back. My incisions are looking great and healing fast. They are still a little sensitive but overall I’m quite happy and I’m slowly getting back to normality.

Wow , thats look very good , your incisions are really in a good condition and healing up very well . I Hope you update your review and how you feel now about the texture of your breast , are they getting more soft / less hard and natural by time? etc
Wish you a good health

January 26, 2019
Hi Shaha, They are getting softer but some days I do wake up and they are slightly swelled. Today they are a little swelled but I had a couple of drinks with friends last night so I think that’s the reason. They do still hurt a little when I travel by car. Mainly because of the uneven roads. I will keep updating with photos and comments though :)
Thanks for sharing your review! I'm thrilled to hear that you have had a good experience so far. How is your recovery going?
