After 2 breastfeeding 2 beautiful boys, I'm have nothing left. Now to be fair, I didn't start with much but there was a bit of something. I am a 34A, 5'6", and 120 lbs. My 40th birthday gift to myself was a puppy, 45 is going to be boobs! I've my pre-op booked for April 12/21 and am hoping for a small augmentation as I don't think I'd feel right with large breasts. I still want to go braless and not look "done". Surgery is on May 4/21. I'm a little unsure of sizing, as my surgeon is suggesting at least 330, recommending 365-385 with full height and full projection. I don't think I want full projection or height! Hopefully, once I get my Vector imaging done, I'll be more certain. ALl the boob jobs I like are under 300. I believe I have a BWD of 12. But I also don't quite understand that! Here goes!

Have you tried searching for before/after photos on here or on google of the cc size with the profile you're considering? At first I was considering 405-445cc Moderate Profile (I have 13.5 BWD) but then I started looking at 500-550cc Full/High profile projection and realized I liked those looks better (for myself). From what my surgeon told me, moderate profile is wider and flatter. So, less projection, wider boobs across the chest, closer together. And high profile is more narrow in width across the chest but sticks out further on the side, more cleavage, etc. Which is supposedly more optimal for ladies starting with lower amounts of native tissue. I swear, this sizing/profiling decision making is by far the hardest part! Lol just research the cc size you like and search for moderate profile and/or full/high profile behind the cc size and see how the results look on other women close to your starting point. I have looked at many before and afters, need to learn more about the whole proportion. It is very confusing! I will definitely google the cc and profile as you suggested. Thank you!

I say stick to your guns! If you know what you like and what you want. Everyone was encouraging HP or ultra HP and 350+ and I chose mod plus 300. I just knew I'd rather too small than too big, and wanted really natural. :)

Mentor Smooth Round High Profile XtraGel 285 cc
Size picked!! Had my pre-op appointment, Vector imaging and am very excited to have made my decision. Although I was recommended to go above 300 cc by my surgeon, the nurse and I agreed that for what I wanted, 285 cc under the muscle will give me the look that I want. I'm very happy with the decision and now have to count down the days until May 4th!! The side view images look very rounded on top, but I was told that under the muscle will give more of a natural slope even with the HP. I altered the images to help myself imagine. I'm so excited!!!!!

Not sure why it didn't add my written update. So decision was made! 285 cc. Dual plane, breast fold incision. Knew I didn't want to be too big, and went with my gut. Surgery is May 4 and I am counting down the days!!!

My surgery is 4/27. Same height and weight, and I just picked the 285cc moderate profile. So excited but nervous!!

Based off your BWD and the size cc going for, the HP my be the only one to fit within that range. For example I went with 500cc so the Mod+ diameter was within my range. If I went with 600cc, I'd have to get HP bc that would of been within my BWD range. My BWD was 14.2

If you like the look of 285 I'd prob go up a smidgen to account for the volume you will lose going under the muscle. You will lose 10-15% just an FYI

That's a good point. I redid my Vectra with a mod plus profile at 275 cc and 300 cc. I am likely to go 300. My surgery was cancelled due to Covid restrictions and now I don't know when I can have it. Too much extra time to to second guess decisions now!

Size and projection changed...
I was not sure about high profile with my wider breast diameter and wanted fuller not round and out, so went back for new imaging and thrilled with my new choice of Mentor Moderate Plus 300 cc. Will be submuscular as I have no breast tissue, but I'm happy with that. 2 weeks to surgery!

I wasn’t sure about high profile either. Too much. I went moderate plus in the end. Good choice.
