Breast Implant Removal and Exchange Surgery
WORTH IT$5,399
I had my capsular removed on June 28, and was able to go down in size from 450/475 high profile to 350/375 medium profile. The surgery was painless. My right breast has no pain, and the only soreness I feel in the left breast is near the bottom. Because the left breast bottomed out, the pocket had to be adjusted a little. This first pic is the day of, after surgery. I guess because a new pocket didn’t have to be made, and I did go down in size, I didn’t have to worry about the implants riding high, and they fell the way I like them. I’m happy with the result so far. And still, my experience with Dr. Csiaki was great. I showed him a picture of the look I wanted to mirror, and he delivered. The high profile implants projected out too much for me. I think the lower profile and implant size is more suitable for my frame.

It’s confirmed! I developed a capsular contracture on my right breast. This was a concern of mine, but I was being optimistic. I’m not really motivated to do another surgery. My surgeon and I agreed that I will try singular for 3 months and see if it softens up. My breast is not hard, it’s just firmer than the left one and hasn’t dropped as low as the left one. If this doesn’t work, he agreed to do a little surgery. A little disappointed but it’s no one’s fault; these things happen.

It happen to me twice with the same dr. BTW it happens when bacteria is either on the implant, instruments, drs hands or unsterile environment. I wish you the best of luck. I pray you get a new implant and he doesn't just put the contaminated implant in a solution than place back inside you, that is what happen in my case. Please makes sure you receive a new warranty card showing your new implant serial number. I didn't get one and when I asked I was told it would be mailed to me. LIES!! He refused to fix the 2nd capsular contracture because it wasn't as severe. I recently had both implants removed because of the blotched job he performed 5 years ago.

Oh wow, Thank you for sharing this information. I asked for a different size and profile. They have to order 350/375 moderate profile. I also bottomed out a little on the left breast. I did contact Mentor so that I can use my warranty. They will have to provide them with the infected implant, I read. The scheduled revision surgery is in October. This gives me some time to think about some things. I’m sorry you went through this. Really appreciate your response.

Yes that’s your body’s reaction to the implants. I can’t wait to find someone to remove mine n all of the damage inside. Had I known 3 pairs ago what I know now- I would’ve taken the first ruptured pair out n left it out. I’m riddled with breast implant illness. I wish you all the best n health with yours

3 month post op Update
I am at 3 months now. For the most part, I am happy with my results. They don’t look that much different from my 1 month post op. I’m a little anxious because my right breast looks as if it still needs to drop a little more. I got the feeling back in my right nipple and the left nipple is tingling, so it’s getting there. The sides of my breast are still a little numb. If I want to sleep on my sides, I wear a sports bra, otherwise, my breast will ache. Mostly, I sleep on my back. The scars are healing nicely. I’m using Skinuva scar cream and bio oil for massaging.
