So Far So Great - Updates Coming Up

WORTH IT
I had a consultation with Dr Lee about about breast augmentation. I have been thinking about having this type of surgery on and off for over ten years and now feel ready to take the leap. I chose Dr Lee after doing a bit of internet research, looking at reviews (all positive) and looking at his before and after galleries. I read that he is a perfectionist in his work, which is obviously what you want when it comes to such a life-altering and costly surgery.I thought the team at Clinique Innovation was exceptionally nice and professional and that I felt I could trust Dr Lee. He gave me all the basic information (as the nerd I am, I already had read the answers to all of my questions from multiple sources). We discussed my aesthetic goals, which are to be about a full C cup and a natural look (or as natural as i could get). After examination of my breast, he said that submuscular placement of the implants would be best due to my skinny upper body, which I expected. He then took multiple measurements of my chest and told me they’re were a couple size and profile options and proceed to show me what that would look like on my body with a 3D simulation machine (they took pictures of my chest at the beginning of the appointment). My stats:Age: 30 years oldHeight: 5’2Weight: 115-120 poundsBra size: 30BBody type: Athletic, with a big butt and skinny torsoImplant type: Mentor smooth round cohesive gel (silicone)Implant placement: dual plane (submuscular)Size : Probably 275cc, maybe lessProfile: Most likely high profile, maybe moderate plusSo, i scheduled my surgery for october 4th, a month from now, and I am quite excited about it. Pre-op appointment will be just a week before, on september 29. For now, I have blood tests to get next friday, and I must stop smoking and drinking alcohol at least two weeks before surgery. I will be posting updates and pictures throughout the process, as I have found them so useful from other women who have had breast augmentation.

275cc rize in stockings test

lenasbubble05
I tried 275cc of rice stuffed in a stocking and then in my unpadded sports bra. This is as big I as would go, given how little breast tissue I have. Thoughts?

You look great!

This size is perfect, but for what I remember because I did the same, it looked bigger than my actual implants, especially if you go under the muscle. :)

Thank you! I like the 275cc size, but now i really am wondering about the high profile... if i go with moderate plus, i can only get 225cc due to my narrow breast width. Decisions decisons

I went with dr Lee too! I got 225 cc unders, mod+. 5’2’’ 115 pounds. I am pleased with the results so far, at almost 2 weeks post op. The scars are smaller than what I was expecting and my recovery is super easy. As for the size, nobody noticed the change (people were used seeing me with push-up bras), but it looks big enough without clothes. I am glad that I did not go with the first ps who was proposing 305 cc. Good luck!

Oh and the Vectra… it did not help at all for me. I was almost horrified with the simulation. Rice sizers and also Mentor sizers they have in the office (you will try them at your preop visit) give a better idea in my opinion.

Thank you for your comments, this is really helpful. I'm glad to hear you had a good experience so far, it really has been quite nerve racking since I booked my surgery. The Velcra did kinda horrify my boyfriend when I showed him the pictures :P

I have to choose between 225cc moderate plus and 275cc high profile. My breast width is rather small (10.5 or 10.9). I am nervous that the 275 hp will look too fake, but i also do have wide hips and a bigger butt and hope to balance things out... How do you like your moderate plus profile and size so far?
September 21, 2021
Hello! Since you’re young and have no ptosis at all, both will look great on you! It really depends on the look you want. I have larger hips/butt too and I now find that my silhouette is much more balanced. I really like the natural look with clothes on (with my bra it is a bit obvious that I had a surgery, because they are still high and tight a little), but it is really a personal preference. I had the choice between 200 and 225 cc MOD+, and I ruled out high profile right from the beginning (older, mild ptosis, so I wanted to avoid the implant pushing the nipples « downward », ans also I liked the idea of a larger base implant for the side boobs). 225/275 cc are not that much different.

I wonder which profile makes the breasts farther apart. That is a question I would have asked if I had been given a choice between the two
