12 weeks post op - first bra try on
So to be brief as I mentioned this all before, I started as a 32B/C. I had mentor 400cc mod profile each side. It sounds scary (but I don’t feel like they look as big as you’d imagine for this size) but I’m now a 32G. Pictures are me in a plunge slightly padded bra in 32F, a 32F bikini (black geo pattern), and size 14 triangle bikini. Based on the bra and bandeau bikini, I’m guessing I’m one size bigger than an F (I’m currently waiting for delivery of 32G since we can’t try on in shops). I hope this helps give anyone interested in knowing how CCs translate into breast size
5 weeks post op
So my appointment this week went well. I am allowed to bath, hot tub, return to normal exercise provided I wear a supportive bra. I’m allowed to wear other bras but not underwire yet.
I’ve been using BioOil and spending a couple of minutes massaging it into my scars. This has made them pop back into my body, they are no longer protruding.
They are starting to feel quite soft, but have been advised they will soften up and drop even more. Can’t wait for them to be at their best!

A Great Surgeon, Great Results So Far.
So I’m posting for the first time as a 4 week post op patient. I found Mr. Whitworth through a friend who used him 5 years ago, and she had amazing results. Through the entire process Mr. Whitworth was everything I needed - direct, open, honest. What I liked most was he never tried to sell the procedure or himself to me, it’s very much ‘you’ll decide if you want it done and with me, I’m just here to arm you with information and advice’. I also like that he specific on the sizes he was willing to do - he said any lower than one volume and it’s not worth my money, and bigger than one volume and it will look silly and he won’t take me on. It makes you confident in his assessment as a lot of consultants will do what you want and only care about getting your money. Mr Whitworth was the opposite, it’s the results and his reputation that means more to him.
I had my initial consultation in August, and my op in October when beds were released from the NHS, I can’t comment on his normal waiting time from consultation to surgery. About me: I’m 166cm ~5ft6, 8 stone 4 (53kg, 112lbs), and 32B/C depending on the bra. I have a very minor case of tuberous breast (just the swollen nipples and low sitting breasts) I wanted a more natural looking fuller look, so was offered between 250-400cc. After a sizing appt. I went for 400cc medium profile.Day of the surgery I arrived in the morning, had a visit from Mr. Whitworth after and hour, was prepped 2 hours after that and went down to surgery. The entire team of nurses and the anaesthesiologist were fantastic. I was comfortable and happy, and they settled my nerves. I woke up an hour after I was put out, no pain, quite comfortable. The drains took a while to get used to, going to the bathroom carrying the bag and tubes was a little awkward but generally OK. I had a full cooked meal for lunch, and again for dinner. Apart from being a little bed bound it was a very comfortable visit, and I’d liken it to staying in a hotel, it was a great night to chill and be on my own! The following morning I had my drains removed (not the most pleasant experience but OK with some gas and air), then I was on my way home!Post op notes: - painkillers. I only took the paracetamol and ibuprofen for 3 days whilst at home. I felt well in myself the first day (still had hospital drugs), a little tender and tired the next 2 days, and then almost back to normal by the 4th day post op. - I had family around so I didn’t do much at all (they wouldn’t allow me to lift a pan, or multiple plates etc). I got bored with a week off work, and though I wasn’t ready to leave the house and go to work, I was lucky that they allowed me to do half days from home to keep me occupied. - sleeping. I slept upright for 8 days. I then lowered to 2 pillows for a few days before I started sleeping on my side (slightly)- bra. I still wear my compression bra during the day and night, as I don’t have a sports bra yet. I did sleep bra less for the first time last night which felt a little sore on the muscles so I’ll put it back on going forward. I have a 4.5 week post op in 2 days so I’ll ask about going onto sports bras then. - bathing. I have a shower which I can lower the shower head. I showered every day my lower half (with the help of family so I wasn’t bending down to wash the first 4 days) on a lower temperature so there wasn’t steam. I then used baby wipes on my top half. I wouldn’t recommend bathing in the first week, purely because I personally wouldn’t be able to lift myself out of the bath. I had my 1 week post op and with the dressing removed was advised when I would be able to get the, wet, which was at 10 days for me as one of my incisions hadn’t fully closed up yet.I’ve attached photos, if you have any questions feel free to ask!
