Bad Breast Augmentation
In 2021 I decided to have breast augmentation. I chose Dr Maloney because he was Harvard trained. That was a big mistake. This doctor could care less about the results that he produces once he has your money in his pocket.
Within two months of having my surgery I could see that something was wrong. The left breast was starting to Bottom out. At three months and six months I had appointments to address my concerns with the left bottoming out breast, uneven nipples, and the right breast that is more lateral than the left. Dr Maloney gaslit me. He told me that it’s not that bad, nobody would ever be able to notice this unless I was on a nude beach. That “at least I had cleavage“. I didn’t pay over $6000 to only look good with clothes on.
At six months I asked him to correct this issue, he didn’t want to but I insisted. He was visibly angry and irritated that I wanted it to be fixed. He did an in office procedure to try to correct the problem with the left breast. It did not fix the problem, I still have a left breast with no breast fold, one nipple that points upward, and a humongous scar that is completely visible because there is no breast fold. Immediately after that procedure it was obvious that it didn’t correct the problem and he said maybe you can come back in six months and we can reassess. By that point more than a year would’ve gone by and I’m guessing that I’d be paying full price for it to be corrected.
Quite frankly, I would not want him to touch me again. He saw nothing wrong with the fact that I had uneven nipples, a bottom breast, one breast that was more lateral than the other, and a visible monstrosity of a scar. Before I get the canned response from their office stating that I should call and make an appointment to discuss the situation, I’ve already done that and I’m sorry that I ever did. I would rather pay all over again. for a revision with a doctor who guarantees their work and doesn’t gaslight the patient when the results are bad.

We are happy to see you back in the office to discuss your concerns. It may be helpful for you to come in and review your pre-operative photos with your post-operative photos. A lot of what can be done surgically depends on what we start with in terms of breast shape, size, fold position, amount of breast tissue and skin quality. We are happy to have you come in to discuss what can or cannot be done to address your concerns.
