Feeling Good Today!

I have been moving around like normally today aside from lifting and I feel awesome! No pain at all, just tightness. I’m definitely ready for these babies to loosen up! I took a shower today and goodness gracious that felt wonderful. Also changed into a bralette while I washed my surgical bra and it was a great break. I will be putting it right back on once it’s dry (doctors orders until 3 week check in). Also, hopefully not too much information, my hubby and I were able to have sex and I was fine. Kept things pretty simple :)

Surgery Completed Today!

I am home from surgery and laying in bed. Everything went well! I was in and out in an hour and a half and everyone was great. I felt super comfortable the entire time! It's been 5 hours since surgery and I'm feeling very tight in the chest and the back. I ended up going with 560cc. Tomorrow I go for my follow up appointment and they will take everything off so that I will get to see them :)

I just had mine done on the 6th. My flanks are so swollen and it feels like I’ve been punched in the ribs and I’m super bloated
I'm feeling really good today! I've been doing a lot of arm movement (over my head and to the side) and I feel like that's helped a bunch. I'm also bloated but I was expecting that.
My dr told me to limit arm movement.
It's so interesting that so many doctors say different things. Mine said get your arms above your head and the tightness will subside. My friend had hers done and her doctor said no arm movement but start massage and mine specifically said no massage until the 3 week appointment. Arm movement did make a huge difference.
I go see my dr Monday so hopefully he gives me some tips about soreness and arm movements. I will say the more I move my arms I do seem to feel less tight and sore.

Surgery Day!

I was so anxious going in especially during such a weird time with COVID. The staff at Berks was still amazing! Everyone was so kind, patient and considerate. They made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. I went in and dressed into a hospital gown, discuss the procedure, answered some questions then Dr. Reedy marked me up then into the operation room I went! 45 minutes later I woke up in recovery and the nurse was fantastic! I felt really sleepy and my boobs felt like when my milk came in after I had a baby (just a little more painful than that). My husband was there to pick me up 10 minutes later. Glad I wore loose clothing and a zip up jacket because it was easy to get into everything after the surgery. The whole ride home I was thinking about a nap.
