Can't believe how easy it was. February2020!

ORIGINAL POST

Finally!

Got breast implants on February 20th 2020! How to make me laugh the size decision up to my surgeon based on my size. He ended up going with 300 cc's in each breast with saline implants! Before surgery I was a 34 A/B, I now am 11 weeks post op with no complications size 34D! My left breast stayed significantly larger than my right for about 3 to 4 weeks after surgery. However now the size is much more symmetrical and even on both sides I couldn't be happier!

What made you decide on saline & not silicone?

Saline is a great way to go ! I'm a 34D with 310/330 cc. Years later , look so natural and feel nice !

What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? I'm 5'2" 120lbs and 32A. I was all set for 400cc saline until my surgery was cancelled due to COVID. Now that I have more time to look at pics I'm worried 400 might be way too big. I want a full C/small D (would rather be more on the side of D).

I would recommend you sit down and speak with your PS. They should be able to guide you in the right direction for the size your looking for. They know exactly how many ccs (usually 150) to increase one cup size. Take into consideration if you go under the muscle you will lose about 15%. It also depends on how much tissue your working with beforehand too. I got 500cc and now in a 34i/j but I started with deflated c/small d. I went with a BL/BA. You are paying for that PS service and you need to be extremely confident in the work/experience. Look at his/her b&a pics and ask to speak w/references. Don't go for the best deal money wise bc you get what you pay for. Research your PS with RealSelf Verified. Good luck!

I am 5'2" 115-120lbs . I was about a 3234 a b depending on the bra and Company. In the office I initially tried on 325 it was a little worried they were a little bit big but I put that down as what I was going to go with and then the day of the surgery we discussed the options and I ultimately left it up to my surgeon regarding my frame size and what he thought would look the best and went 300 CC saline on both sides .. due to this covid-19. To go out and go shopping for bras. But I did end up getting one from Victoria's Secret that was a 34d. I know they tend to run smaller however I also measured myself for a bra fitting and I did measure 34d

Victoria's Secret...I am always measured as a 34 D, despite being from 110-140 pounds and being pregant with and without implants. I swear that they just measure you as whatever thy have most in stock.

Are they soft ? I want saline as well
May 9, 2020
Getting there... much softer than they were right after the procedure
August 20, 2021
Saline ends up being much softer with a more natural look and feel . Mine are a similar size and look / feel amazing 13 years later .

Size differences

Cute938135
11 weeks post op 300cc breast implants. I never had a size difference before surgery and even when surgeon measured at preoperative he said I was almost perfect even measurements however after surgery my left breast is larger, noticeably, and still is. Anyone else experience this?

I do too. Not too happy being larger in one breast than the other. However my doctor assured me it is normal for our left breast to be a somewhat larger than the other one. I had saline before and the doc made the adjustment in putting less in my left breast so that they would be even but u can't do that w silicone so maybe I should have stayed with saline.

Most PS will use 2 different size implants in some cases.

I have saline And both bags are 300cc

Maybe it's due to its placement, how the pocket was made or the lowering of your IMF? Maybe if one side (IMF) was lowered more than the other, it would make the implant sit differently causing the size difference? On the one side you have a lot of lower pole. It's hard to guess since there are no before photos to compare to. You can request those pics from your PS if you didn't take any. The Dr in the Q&A forum always state that are breasts are sisters not twins. Give it more time and as they can possibly still change a bit. I d&f over many many months and fluffed multiple times throughout the year. However, I think your probably at your final result but I'm not a Dr. Good luck! I think they looked lovely in the previous post. Keep us updated!!

thank you!! I haven't had a chance to go in for my 3 months post-op because of all this stuff going on hopefully in a few weeks I will get in there and be able to discuss it with him!
May 11, 2020
I have 450cc in both and they are over 1 year now, they are definitely not the same, I do panic some days and one looks better than the other but like others have said they are sisters not twins and look the same in a bra etc it’s only when naked I notice it more and defiantly when I bend over a bit my right looks more cone shaped x
May 11, 2020
Were you symmetrical before your procedure? What I don't understand is the fact that I was almost perfectly symmetrical in my measurements for both breasts and now it's different
May 11, 2020
Hmmm thinking back I’m sure one was slightly bigger (more saggy) than the other
May 11, 2020
That's what I don't understand. It. When I went in for my pre-op I was measured fully and everything was almost perfectly symmetrical I had no size difference can either breast never have in my entire life. And now I got 300 cc's put into each breast and one on the left is bigger and protrudes more than the other. Like I can notice it through my clothing one sticks out farther
May 11, 2020
I can't see any difference in pics. You have a great result! Beautiful

Almost 6 months!

Cute938135
It's been almost six months since my surgery. So much has happened.. I lost my mom. All this coronavirus stuff. Lockdown. Just a lot of stuff has me down. But one thing that does not have me down is my boobs! I'm so glad I got them done before all this stuff happened I'm so glad I got them done at all!! My left breast is still larger than my right breast. It's still protrudes more to me when looking down so that is what bothers me but sometimes it's not noticeable sometimes it is. I'm so 100% satisfied with that because I know I was basically even through measurements before the same amounts were put in so I think it's the way my body is sitting. I've had some back issues and posture issues and my chiropractor thinks my rib cage sits off-centered which would give the illusion of a more protruding breast. I am still about a 32d is what most bras I have are. A small Victoria's Secret sports bra and I have recently been buying Aerie bras in size 32d

Aw thanks!

Omg I feel the same , my sister in
Law said the same to me, I feel like my right boob sits lower and not as pert as my left, she said it may be to do with my posture and how I sit and stand!! When I stand upright they look identical and when I slouch they don’t look the same!!
August 12, 2020
Yea could totally be a posture thing!

Aw, omg I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I don't mean to bring it up again but I hope that you're feeling stronger and stronger with each day. I'm definitely happy that you at least can find comfort in your boobies! *sending virtual hugs* lol. :)
August 16, 2020
Aw thank you so much! *virtual hugs back at ya* it definitely is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. This pandemic doesn't make it any better

Yeah I can't imagine how that feels. Everyone around us is also going through their own struggles during this horrible pandemic, which I imagine can make it harder to feel supported. But I hope you are surrounded by nothing but loving, supportive people. One day at a time girl

I'm sorry that your boob journey has taken a backseat to this crazy life right now.
On a good note, yes, your boobs are fantastic!!! My left boob protrudes a bit more than my right due to my chest plate being uneven. I had my boobs done before I met my husband and he can't even tell, or just doesn't care because he is a boob guy!

I hope the rest of your year goes better!!! Congratulations on your boobilicousness!!
