30, No Kids, small 34b before, 485cc SRF HP Gummy Bear Natrelle Inspira, under muscle

FINALLY HAPPENING! I have waited over half my life for this day. Surgery is set for 9am June 15th!!

I did not see multiple surgeons for consults. I knew in my heart that Dr. Salemy was it after reading/seeing his extensive background, awards, education, reviews/before and after pics, etc. We started with a virtual consult in April...COVID crap...but worked perfectly, as I was still living in Missouri, until I moved back here to Washington a month ago! Dr. Salemy was very kind and soft spoken and easy to talk to. The phone consult, with sent in before pictures from me, was going over why I wanted to get implants, what size I am now etc. I paid my $500 deposit and got me scheduled for my pre op May 27th, as they were able to open up May 18th and also set surgery for June 15th.

At my pre op, we signed paperwork, paid the total, I used Care Credit, and went over questions and sizing. He took measurements and pictures, answered any lingering questions, I had very little of them, as I did extensive research and was just ready and then left me with the nurse to try on sizers. That part, I was so not ready for. TAKE YOUR TIME ON THIS PART! I was so overwhelmed and full of excitement that I couldn't fully focus on the sizes. Also, not having a friend or family in there due to new protocol, was even harder. I decided then that 375cc felt good. (I teared up with happiness of feeling the weight of boobs!) The nurse was beyond kind and helpful and Dr. Salemy came back in and agreed that it looked great on me and we decided with high profile, New Inspira highly cohesive/"Gummy Bear", smooth/round implants, with going under the muscle and incision under breast in the fold. I scheduled my post op at 945am on June 16th, the day after, then I left.

I got home and did even MORE research and thinking and decided there was no way 375cc was gonna be enough for the goal in mind. I called the next morning and explained and they were so understanding and scheduled me back a week later for another sizing. THANK GOD. The same nurse left out my original size, 445cc and 492cc and said if I needed bigger to open the door and she would grab them. I spent at least 20 minutes alone this time, taking pictures and sending to my boyfriend to help decide. Really soaking up that time. Its a huge decision. 492cc felt amazing, but when compared with 445cc, it felt ever so slightly larger than I expected. Either size i would be happy with, but decided 445 felt more realistic, as they will get much larger when I have a kid one day soon, (hoping in just a couple more years). The nurse stated the implants will end up being a bit larger anyways, but will look like 445, as going under the muscle takes a very small amount off size.

I got all my medications filled that day when I went home, just to be ready, and read over everything again.

Now...i wait! I got the confirmation of time yesterday and they sent 5 videos to watch to prepare.

Here are my before pics. I had big boobs as a teen, then lost them as I got older, then did some yo yo gaining and losing, then found a passion for fitness and lost alot more. So ready for big and FULL ones for once!!! Surgery is now at 8am tomorrow morning. Got a call that they could move it up an hour due to a cancelation. Gotta shower with the medical grade scrub brush thing they gave me in the morning and take a handful of certain Rx's. Very nervous. But so excited!:) I will update on everything after surgery.

I am 1 day post op now. Yesterday was excruciating. I don't know how some girls have no pain. Haha Today however, feels a little bit better. A little more mobile. Post op went great. The extreme tightness I felt was relieved slightly when I got the ace bandage wrap taken off. Now just have compression surgical bra and the white elastic band around the top of my chest to keep them pushed down. Also got gauze taken off and steri strips put on the incisions, which will resolve on their own.. Dr. Salemy walked in after nurse took things off and he said "you look great, they're healing beautifully." I told him the extreme tightness I feel is like my skin could burst, is thr main pain. He said "that is likely, you went with a large implant, for a small woman, that muscle got stretched, but will continue to subside." So i felt much better. :) He sent me with a refill of narcotic pill of 5 more only, per my request, to ensure i get thru at least day 4.
Riding very high, but to be expected. I am SO pleased already. Nipples aren't getting hard, from being compressed and so swollen. Left one is slightly numb, right one has some feeling. :) The nurse went over instructions for this week. I can shower Thursday and even then, ensure i only shower with my back to the water.
Not abble to lift arms high, which I'm told not to anyways. Sleeping on my back felt tragic haha! I am a side sleeper, so my butt felt very pained this morning sleeping up with weight on it. Only thru this week at least.
My boyfriend has been a wonderful care taker and has me taking all these pills on a schedule.
I have a 1 week post op phone call on the 23rd then a 6 week post op visit on July 29th.
Today is laying in bed, as the walking i did at post op then grocery store, got me very sore. Ill keep updating!:)
