Thongbra sucks :(
I hate that I have to wear the thongbra to prevent symmastia. Have to wear it until my 2 week appointment. That combined with my compression band is torture !
Post-Op Today
I'm so happy with the outcome of the surgery. I can't wait til they drop and fluff. I had very noticeable asymmetry and scoliosis, which was a difficult case.
Dr. Feldman was able to create a pocket with my right side that will allow the nipple to rotate back up. Right now you can still see that the nipple goes downward. I have to keep the thong bra on for only two more weeks, hopefully. The thong bra will prevent symmastia.
My fiancé created himself a spreadsheet to help me take medicines, based on when the nurse instructed him to. I know... we are super nerdy lol. I'll add before pictures once im able to show the after pictures, probably when I shower Sunday evening.

Last night and this morning I was so extremely nervous. I kept asking myself why I would inflict this to myself ?
This morning I got to the surgery suite at 7:20 and was greeted by Kolby. She is so sweet! Then Melissa came and had me take a pregnancy test (thank god for birth control!) Melissa took all my vitals, put my IV in, and then Lee came in to talk to me about anesthesia. I asked a million questions but they both were incredibly patient with me.
Dr. Feldman then came in and marked me up. He made sure I had realistic expectations for the result. Melissa and another nice nurse walked me to the surgery room. They had my legs all nice and warm. Lee told me to take a few big breaths and Boom! I was Knocked Out. I didn't have any dreams.
When I woke up, Melissa was there to give me medicine and water. She wrote down all the medicine dosage times for my fiancé. Very thorough! I love that. Jeanette, the patient care coordinator, came in to say hello. She is so so sweet. She has been a major support system, answering all my questions.
The pain is not too bad. Maybe a 3/10. It feels like I have a big chest cold. It's just very sore. I've been pretty much sleeping from when I got home til now (7:30pm). I'm in my breast rest station. My fiancé and I made a kick ass breast rest station. I'll have to update photos when I get to feeling better.
I am in awe of Dr. Feldman and his team. They are so professional but extremely kind and caring. Very honest people. Can't wait to see my result.
