The Good, The Bad, The Ugly...It started off with awful pain (The Ugly)
But that was expected. (The Good)The doctor was professional, courteous and knowledge. Seeing that I wanted my procedure to be done in two weeks because of vacation and I had to get back to work. Her office staff were incredibly accommodating. Oh yeah, the surgical team was awesome put me right at ease. So I digress still on the pain meds. I did request what I thought to be a larger size implant. Mentor anatomical moderate plus between 460-550 but ended up with Mentor smooth round, moderate plus, 475cc under the muscle. I wanted a bit bigger seeing that I'm almost 50 and waited this long but I trusted the doctor's expertise. I am 5'2 with wide shoulders 139lbs. I guess [RS bleep] boobs maybe but looking matronly top heavy wasn't the plan. Now (The Bad)..My doctor prescribed me Norco, Valium and keflex which eased the pain. But PO to 3DPO had moments that were unbearable just make sure you keep up with your pain meds. Was suggested I keep on my ace wrap til first PO appointment on Tuesday. This was the ugly for me because my chest looks so flat wrapped that I'm feeling disappointed. But I know I have many weeks, months or year to go before they drop and fluff into place. So til I see my boobs again. Was it worth it? Not sure yet. I will keep you posted.

Ecstatic the pain has subsided. Was feeling anxious because not sure if I would be close to the size I wanted. Glad not to have to wear padded and push up bras. So ready for my post op appointment tomorrow. Can't wait to see the results. Will keep you posted.

Finally the reveal. They are perfect! Met with the surgical nurse and she informed me of all the do's and don'ts. I get to wear a light compression bra. No more mummy bandages. So excited. I'm D6PO. No bruising, small scar, minimal tenderness. Back to work. Starting massaging, light stretching, walking and stationary bike. Great work Esana Team.

I went in for D5PO appointment. No bruising, minimal scaring, healing nicely, implant placement perfect. OK just a little boob greed but love my look. Let the massaging begin, light stretching, walking and soon to be using scar gel. After that drop and fluff. Summer bathing suit here I come. Will show close up at 3 week appointment.
Glad you realize it takes time to see your final results. Many women find it helpful to take a picture every week, allowing them to see their gradual healing process. Feel free to join the February 2017 breast augmentation surgery forum for some post op support. Looking forward to your updates!
