What Makes Dr. Corey Different
WORTH IT
I am "that" person. The person who does alllll the research. After hours spent on Reddit, RealSelf, Google, and YouTube (and yes, I even watched a surgery video. Wasn't prepared for those visuals LOL), I felt very confident about my choice in getting a consultation with Dr. Corey.
A lot of things make Dr. Corey's practice different than the others I learned about along the way. They make sure you have all of the information you need when going in. While other surgeon's may forget to tell you what bra to wear after surgery or how exactly to massage post-op, Dr. Corey and his staff didn't miss a beat in letting me know what to do and what to expect.
I received a printed notebook with TONS of information about my procedure leading up to the surgery, the day before, the surgery, possible complications, post-op, and more. At my pre-op, I received even more information about what to do the day before, day of surgery, and after. Even the little questions were answered - like when can I wear deodorant? Can I sleep on my stomach? When can you have sex?
The thing I appreciated the most about Dr. Corey and his staff was personal. Dr. Corey was always kind, friendly, and funny. I never once felt unheard or uncomfortable. Dr. Corey has a way of talking to you about your body and your goals with real kindness and inclusivity. Never once did I feel that my body NEEDED improvement in the way that Dr. Corey spoke to me about my goals. His RN, Crystal, was the MVP during recovery. I texted her a variety of questions and "is this normal?" pictures and she was patient, caring, and kind... even when I was texting her often.
I was terrified about this surgery. It was my first surgery ever and the anxiety was bad, but I was in good hands and everything was better than I could have imagined. Day of surgery was somehow lighthearted and even, dare I say, fun?
Now? I am 7 weeks post op and I get SO MANY compliments. I am in a Facebook Group for women who want/have implants. So many women in this group have told me that... drum roll! I am their wish pic now! HA! :)
Thank you Dr. Corey, and the entire team! :)
