Disappointed with breast augmentation size
$6,600
I am disappointed with the size of my implants. Initially, they had told me 255cc (moderate round cohesive gel, submuscular). However after reading reviews, I requested that I wanted larger and asked for 300cc. The Dr. ordered one size up from 255 and 2 sizes up from 255. In surgery they said they could not fit the larger one into my breast (so I believe I am 265? the 1 size up from 255), but I am skeptical. I woke up from surgery and the first thing I said was they were too small.
It is 4 months later and I want to contact them to tell them I am still disappointed. Is it standard that surgeons will put in larger implants if the patient is not happy with the outcome especially after I asked for 300. Also, is it possible that they could not "fit" in the larger implant (2 sizes up from 255)?

I'm def not a doctor but that sounds kind of sketchy to me. 45 CCs is not that much more so I would think they could have gone bigger but didn't. You should def call them and let them know you're not happy and see what they say. I'm sorry you're disappointed with your results & I really wish you the best of luck getting things worked out.
Oh and FYI I think your boobs are absolutely amazing!
So obviously I'm not a doctor, but here's what I learned during my consults... the cc actually determines more of a diameter. The goal is to match the diameter of the implant to your boob diameter. From there the profile makes them appear larger.
Looking at your fabulous results and what I've learned if you would have gone larger you may have compromised cleavage and the diameters of both too close to each other, potentially creating a uniboob.
Maybe that is why...more of a diameter than a profile thing???
Either way, I think they look great!

I felt disappointed at 4 months as well. I have 275 moderate classic profile. Never discussed size with dr, (she never gave me much say) i trusted her to give me a natural look. And she did. 3 years later im quite happy with them. I dont even know what my breast width was, as she never mentioned that, so i dont know what my range actually was. But, now i realize everyone is so different, even 2 ladies with same size chests and same size implants will come out different! It took me awhile to embrace my new size, the results are dramatic( i had nursed 4 babies for total of almost 10 years-yikes!) im sure your dr picked what was right for your measurements, tissue, muscle, etc. Which shows how competant he is. If you go just a bit bigger then you should, you could end up with numbness, rippling, un even boobs, etc. For all the beautiful jobs we see online, there are thousands that didnt go so well! Yours are BEAUTIFUL! I would give it time, and get used to them, they do change a bit more over time. Mine dropped a bit more over the next year. They look absolutely natural. I think yours look bigger then mine and they look perfect. With such an amazing outcome, i would wait a bit longer. I hope this helped!
