Swollen but smiling - Post-op day 3, 400cc, under muscle

Been a full month since post up. Still have to wear my band across my chest daily/night. Next post op appointment in about a week. They are dropping! I still mostly sleep on my back still. A but uncomfortable at night some nights. No longer on pain medication. I plan to begin back working out soon.

Finally made it through week 1. Days 1-3 were the worst for me pain wise. I took all prescribed meds, slept with lots of pillows and had to walk every 2-3 hours. I was about to drive myself to my post op appointment. Only took Tylenol that day. Got my stitches out and will return in 2 weeks which will put me at 21 days post off. I took a total of 8 days off work. But it wasn't until day 6 that I feel more like myself. I do love my boobs and very glad I finally did this! Surgeon said could be 3-6 months before they fully dropped. Currently I don't wear a bra, just pasties and the breast band.

Dr. Tattlebaum and team amazing! Surgery went great. The pre-op nurse, operating nurse and anesthesiologist were excellent. Answered all of me and my partners questions. Made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The only person who wasn't on point for the front desk clerk. She showed up late, wasn't on task and did not take the initiative like the rest of the surgical staff. Happy with my results. Can't wait until they drop into place.
