My surgery has changed my life! I was born with pectus excavatum. With this deformity, women like me typically have deformed and underdeveloped breasts. I've wanted a surgery since middle school, but could never afford the procedure. I've struggled with my confidence and hid myself behind special bras, oversized shirts, and obsessive workouts to hide the deformity as much as possible. Researching procedures and pricing has been yearly routine for me, but this year I stumbled across Dr. Azouz's website where they specialized in this deformity. I requested a consultation and was contacted the next day. I was told the procedure would be covered by Care Credit and I simply said yes (at 30-years-old).
I'm still in shock that I finally had the courage to do this. I travelled from Vail, Colorado to have a breast augmentation in Dallas, where I had family to stay with for a week after the surgery. I had never been so nervous in my life! The staff was supportive 100% of the time. They always took my calls and answered any and all concerns.
Instead of having the chest wall repaired, I received only breast implants to cover the deformity (even if I had the chest wall repaired, my breasts still would have been deformed). I am 5 weeks post-op and I can't even tell I have pectus. I have gotten so many compliments. I went from an A (left) and B (right) cup to D's. I thought they would be too large but they are perfect and settling nicely. People have mentioned how natural and symmetrical I look now and it is truly amazing.
I could not be more grateful. Any woman suffering from pectus, wondering if this is the right surgeon and procedure, is in amazing hands and you will not regret the decision for one moment. Thank you guys!

I’m sure you know the pain of friends and family saying, “it’s not a big deal” and “you look fine to me.” I knew I would never be okay with my chest and decided once and for all to change it, and I’ve never regretted a moment since my surgery. The whole process cost about $10500 and I used Care Credit so I can pay it off in two years. I didn’t want a cheap surgery by mediocre doctors. I don’t mind picking up a shift each week to pay for this, it has been the biggest and best decision of my life.
I first was looking into repairing the chest wall, but after talking to Dr. Azouz, I realized implants would be the best option. I am so f’ing confident now and that has changed how I look at the world, seriously, it’s that big.
The Azouz family will take care of you and will always make sure you are 100% comfortable. The staff is amazing as well. I would recommend a consultation and you will feel as comfortable as I did with their care and expertise.
