Best Decision and Easiest Experience All Due to Dr. J!

Let me start by saying, if you are considering going to Dr J - do it! I cannot say enough kind words to explain what a great doctor he is. As soon as I met him, I knew he was my doctor. Before meeting him, I knew his credentials already and was very impressed with his work from the web and IG, but he's also an incredible person with a fantastic personality and is easy to talk to! He has also surrounded himself with an amazing team. Everyone in his office makes you feel like family. I go there now for botox/fillers and truly enjoy seeing everyone and catching up.
I initially went to Dr. J to consult for a mini-BBL and breast augmentation. Let me begin by saying, I had already gone to 3 doctors that were all willing to perform a BBL and breast augmentation. As soon as he took a look at me he explained that not only would he not give me a "mini" BBL, but that doing that procedure on me would cause major long term damage because I didn't have enough fat (and some fat is necessary for your body to move). Of course, at that point I was disappointed and showed him my trouble areas asking if he could pull from here and there. He explained just how bad that would be for my future. He did agree I was an ideal candidate for a breast aug though! On the day of surgery I was more calm than I had expected. Dr. J and his team really put you at complete ease throughout the entire process. (Regarding the CC's: During the consultation, I was mentally set on having CC's not above 300. Dr. J had given me his recommendation which was higher, but I was being pretty stubborn that I wanted to go smaller. I realized a few weeks before surgery that I really knew nothing about cc's and was confident going with whatever CC Dr J said would be right for my body.) The day of surgery I said let's go with whatever you think is right for my body and he immediately said 375 cc. The surgery itself was a breeze and the recovery was painless! I woke up from the anesthesia feeling great, dressed, zero pain, zero nausea and wondered if anything even happened until I looked down. Dr. J and the nurses told me everything was great and were saying how happy I would be. Now at that point I was driven home and basically waiting to be in pain...but I was totally fine all night. I wondered if it was just because I still had anesthesia in my system so the next morning I took a pain pill to be safe. I had a follow-up appointment that day and it was great. I went home and had no pain and didn't take any other pain medicine. It was fascinating how little soreness there was. About a week later was my next appointment went perfectly, and Dr. J answered all my questions. One additional thing, during that week following surgery I did have a few questions which I texted to Dr. J. He was so great about answering everything. At the one-week out appointment, I was able to get a real look and they were already in perfect position. No "dropping or fluffing" needed. I asked him about this and he said that he does the pockets so that they fall correctly without that process. I couldn't believe it. I had read a ton of reviews but hadn't ever read that - but that's a very important thing to note about the way Dr. J performs this surgery! I wasn't going to have that weird 3 month period of waiting for them to look normal. Of course, I was swollen but they looked perfect already only one week out. I'm now 6 months out and they are absolutely perfect. Legitimately perfect. I am SO glad I went with his recommendation on size also. He really changed my whole body with this one procedure in such an amazing way.
Sidenote About Other Doctors: One important thing to note with my story, one of the doctors I had consulted with prior to seeing Dr. J, had told me that I had an umbilical hernia and that he would "throw it in" for free with a BBL and breast augmentation or I could just get it repaired for $6k. He also told me that it was very serious and could cause death if not treated. Like anyone that isn't a doctor would be, I believed him and was terrified. I happened to be seeing my dermatologist the day after that consult and asked him...which he said I absolutely did not have a hernia. The next week was my consult with Dr. J and of course, he said I did not have a hernia. That doctor that told me that I did is very well known for BBL and was actually a friend of a friend. So, do your homework and if you are reading this - go see Dr. J you will be so glad that you did!!! I want everyone to know what an incredible doctor Dr. J is. I could really write even more about how much I appreciate Dr. J and his team but this will go on forever.
