Finally updating! I am very happy with Dr. Kerner and my results

Decided to Take the Plunge!

Nvr2old
WORTH IT$6,500

After several years of debating and trying to convince my husband, I am finally "taking the plunge". I am in my mid 40s, and have breast fed two children. I never had much to begin with. Currently I am a 32B (maybe).

I have had two consultations with two different doctors. The first consultation was not as informative or comforting as I would have liked. However this doctor is closer to my home. She did not seem very happy and told me that the day after surgery, I would just "give them a call" to let them know how I was doing.

The second consultation was with Doctor Kerner in Plano, TX. (3 hours from my home) I was extremely pleased with how much information and how thorough she is. She is wanting me to stay close and have a follow up the next morning. I will continue to see her for the next two to three weeks. Since I was so comfortable with her, I made my appointment for surgery!

I def recommend staying close to home in case you have any complications. I didn't think about that but thankfully my PS was just over an hour away. I had a ton of spitting sutures and developed open wounds. Just something to think about. You can read my review anytime. Good luck.

Oh and I forgot to ask, are you posting b&a pics with your review?
October 10, 2020
I have already decided to go with the doctor that is 3hrs. away. She has made me feel very comfortable. I will be staying overnight and have a follow up appointment the next day. I am waiting right now to find out if she can actually get the implants I am wanting. (She is having problems ordering because of COVID)
Once we have the “go ahead” I will have pictures.
Thank you for the advice though.

My open wounds from the spitting stitches happened around 18-21 dpo. 3 hours away isn't bad, within reason. What kind of implants do you want that she can't order? I know there were issues with Ideal implants for a while and know too many women have issues deflating multiple times. Keep us updated!

It is the ideal implants. Even if they do deflate, they are under warranty. And that issue has supposedly been corrected. She has not had any problems with them.

Great results, surprised you had to convince your husband, I am sure he is happy you convinced him now.

Thank you!
He has been very happy! Lol His concern was that they wouldn’t look natural. (My friend’s BA doesn’t)

How many consultations did you have to have with her? How long did you have to wait from the last consultation to get the surgery?
August 26, 2021
I only had one consultation and then a pre-op visit to get medical and before pictures. It took a couple of months for surgery but that was because of COVID.
August 27, 2021
Not too bad. I have a consultation with her in a couple of weeks. I’m very excited to speak with her I have read such great things. What was the preop visit like? Thank you so much for responding so quickly! I appreciate it.

Finally updating

Nvr2old
I have been hesitant to update my status. Not sure why, just procrastinating maybe? I am 46 yr old 2 adult children that I breastfeed a LONG TIME AGO! 127lbs. Pre surgery 32 A/B. Post surgery 32C
To start off, I was unsure if the surgery was even going to happen on my appointment two weeks before surgery date.Because of COVID, we were unsure if she could get my implants. Three days after that appointment I received the call that we could move forward. Now, here I am eight days post surgery and so happy.
Surgery was not as bad as I expected. Getting to the hotel after surgery was a different story. Because I cannot take acetaminophen, whatever they gave me for pain made me very nauseous. (The zofran did help.)I felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest.
Dr. Kerner had to lift some muscle that was attached to my ribs on the left side. Because of that, there was some bruising. Considering all, I did not need any of the Vicoprofen, just muscle relaxers and tramadol for the first couple of days and ibuprofen after that. I think the most uncomfortable feeling was adjusting to the extra weight. Lol That kept me from being able to stand straight for any length of time. I am very happy with Dr. Kerner and my results. (I didn’t not want to go big).

You look great! Your size looks good on your frame! What height are you and what ccs did you have?
November 1, 2020
Thank you! I am 5’5” and we went with 250cc.

You look great. I have similar proportions to you. 250 has definitely given you a proportionate size. I'll be following you!

Did you go over or under the muscle?
November 2, 2020
Yes, under the muscle.

Also, at my follow up appointment, Dr. Kerner informed me that she actually put in 270cc. That puts me at a 32D

This is actually very interesting to know as I'm debating 270 and 310. 270 look plenty big enough on you, but I'm 34A/B so I might need slightly bigger for a similar look. I'm still debating whether or not to have surgery at all. Was it an easy decision for you? I'm an over thinker.

3weekS & 2day update 270cv

Nvr2old
It has been 3weeks and 2 days and I have been doing great. I have been completely back to work for the past 2 weeks. (Hair stylist) And doing almost all of my normal activities except exercise. At my 1 week check up, I was already starting to have sensitivity as the nerves start healing. They are softening up nicely.
I have an appointment next week and will discuss the right breast being slightly larger.

Looking good. Amazing what 270cc can do!
November 15, 2020
Thank you! I am very happy with the results. No more gaps in my bras and clothes fit better.
November 15, 2020

November 15, 2020

Great result!! You look very similar to me (before) & I’m glad you posted. I too want to stay in the 200’s range so they are natural looking!
November 30, 2020
Thank you. I am very happy with them. A little discouraged since I still have no feeling in the left breast still. I know it takes time. Im just impatient. Lol
December 4, 2020
Yes it takes time!. You look wonderful

Thank you!

Amazing!!!! I am 45 y/o and I have really been considering a BA. I never had much to begin with, but over the years after losing weight, breastfeeding 2 children, and age, my breasts are so deflated. I don't fill out my bras, swimsuit tops, or have cleavage. I do not want to go huge. I am between a 36B/C right now. I am 5'8" and 155lbs (athletic build). I have a consultation in 2 weeks. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair one month ago and the recovery has not been bad at all. I should have just had the BA at the same time, but i wasn't sure how the recovery would go with the TT.

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? Also, when did your doctor say you could go back to exercising? I am very active and not being able to workout has been driving me crazy. I just started back up again (4 weeks post surgery) but I am easing into it.
February 4, 2021
Your story is very much like mine. I didn’t fill out bras, tops ect. My original size was 32B/34A.
My doctor had me wait five weeks to start exercising. I had to wait another two weeks do do any pectoral exercise.
I think it helps tremendously to be fit/ healthy before surgery. I think that’s why recovery was much easier than I expected.
As for price, I paid around $6,000.
I am very happy with my results!
