25 years old, 5’4 140lbs. 400cc sub glandular silicone mentor implants with scoring of tuberous bands to correct tuberous breasts. Excited to watch them settle in! I’ve always had confidence issues with my breasts and i’m glad I finally did something about it!I had a hard time finding examples of correction of tuberous breasts without mastopexy so I thought I would post my story!

Omg thank you for posting your story, I have the same condition and my breast look exactly like yours. I been hunting for a doc who does this often enough and results look great. You look awesome. I also wanted to do 400ccs. Please keep us posted on your progression. I am so nervous on getting this surgery because the after surgery results dont look great due to doctors not knowing how to deal with this deformity. The scoring of the band is what I find doctors not paying enough attention to. Im so happy to have found your story.

2 weeks post op. Nipples are currently hypersensitive to touch but that’s to be expected. Still VERY happy with the results!

Could you explain the "bands"? I have seen a lot of tuberous breasts "fixed" by slicing the nipple. I never like the results and it looks painful. Is this an alternative to that?

In tuberous breasts there is a band of tissue that prevents the breast from developing correctly and causes herniation of the breast tissue through the nipples. During B.A. the PS addresses that issue by scoring/cutting the tissue band and putting implants in to help stretch them out. That’s my understanding.
