The consultation process- Scheduled for end of June!

Ilikefrogs
WORTH IT$7,900
5'6"
140lbs, give or take 3 pounds depending on the week
Starting size: 32C (give or take)
Had 1 child in 2020, did not breast feed, was a B prior to child
Weight is staying pretty stable around 135-140lbs, 22.6 BMI
BWD approx. 13cm? I'll have check that
Wanting HP/UHP 450cc+, I would be really happy with 550cc+, however:
I have ptosis due to pregnancy and also just the way my breasts naturally sit. It isn't something that bothers me at all! I love the shape of my breasts and where they sit on my chest, I just want them BIGGER! I've wanted implants since I was a teenager, and I finally decided to go through with it! Live a little, right?! But I have ZERO interest in a breast lift. Absolutely do not want one
Well I've been through and paid for four consultations. This took me about 8 months to get through. All the quotes fees were all inclusive (anesthesia, med facility, surgeon fee, etc.)
1. Dr. ?. Jarell- I had zero idea what I was doing AND I had to bring my toddler with me because the sitter backed out: recommended mastoplexy and small augmentation after healing from the lift, didn't give me a quote, awkward and not very pleasant- not a good interaction mostly because it was really awkward, probably because I had to bring my toddler. Only general discussed silicone
2. Dr J. Kramer- I still had no idea what I was doing, but had more knowledge on the procedure itself; recommended a lift with augmentation, wasn't very nice over the initial video consultation, had to physically go in to get measurements taken, much nicer in person/ quoted 6500$ for an augmentation, then quoted 11000$ for augmentation with lift, but wouldn't do a lone augment, staff was friendly, just don't want a lift or the price tag with it. Kind of gave up here for awhile, but then decided to try again! Only discussed general silicone
3. Dr. M. Wigod- I explained to him my experiences with the other two surgeons and he validated my experiences with them. I was pretty knowledgeable about everything except sizing at this point: offered to preform a lone augment, recommend 440cc after measurements- quoted 8900$, great interaction! Super personable, good bedside manor, lots of before and afters, staff was really friendly, humorous and nice surgeon with good track record! Very knowledgeable and informative. Price was a bit out of my budget for this, but if I was unable to find another go ahead at a lower price I was going to go with Wigod! I learned later that my mom who was an surgical nurse worked with him in operating rooms years ago and she also sang his praises! Only discussed Sientra silicone
4. Dr. M. Leyngold: I explained my previous consultation experiences, and he's was also very validating in my previous experiences. He is new to the area, and has limited before and afters. Used to practice in Florida under hospital staffing for cancer reconstruction, etc. very impressive medical background! I was very knowledgeable for this consultation: offered to augment for 7900$ which was just within my budget of 8000$ for this procedure! Discussed Sientra, Mentor, and silicone or textured silicone implants. We discussed cancers associated with BA implants.
One thing I noticed people rarely discuss on here is finances. So:
"Paid in full" two weeks ago: Used a combination of CareCredit and cash to pay, 24 months at 0% interest, so I'm paying approx. 275$ a month to carecredit to have it paid off before the interest kicks in. I put the 20% deposit of approx. 1200$ on CareCredit, paid that off with the "cash" I had saved, then when that posted off as paid I put the remaining balance of 6700$ on CareCredit. So I financed a 7900$ surgery with a 7500$ limit on my CareCredit and 1200$ in cash. I end up actually financing a total of 6700$ over 24 months at 0% interest! I'm paying towards the carecredit balance monthly prior to surgery and post surgery, and kept my monthly payment below 300$, but the surgery is "paid in full" now.
Scheduled for June 29th! Hoping to have a late in the day surgery so I can work the fort pet of the day. I have Friday to Tuesday off work, so 5 days in total, but I do accounting/desk work. I plan to take my recovery/healing very very seriously.
Pre Op is June 14th- that's when we will go over sizing. I want round silicone and I'm going to go a big as the surgeon will let me. I might need to have my inframammary fold lowered to fit in the implant size I want and to avoid the snoopy boob look, so I don't want to go so big that I put too much stress on the incision. I do plan to go bigger at later surgery, probably 7 or 8 years from now. But I would be happy with 550 ccs to start!

Thanks for sharing your experience so far! Having several consultations, so you can compare your options and your rapport with different surgeons, is super helpful. I hope your surgery goes well and I'm looking forward to hearing about it.

Goodluck with your surgery. I am booked in for a breast augmentation tomorrow. I am going between 425-450cc. My boobs are saggy so I am worried that they won't look 100% without a lift. :S

Everything went very smoothly, the nursing staff and Dr. Leyngold were awesome and everyone had really good bedside manner. My post op appointment is today. I’m still in the ace bandages. I’ve been able to manage the discomfort fairly well. I couldn’t describe it as “painful”. It’s more like soreness and pressure. So I’m doing well! Im excited to see what’s going on under these bandages today at pot op. I was a 32c in bra size before just for reference. I got mentor ultra high profile implants, I think it’s 415 cc in each breast, but I’ll check with Leyngold when I see him today! Will post more update pics soon

Awesome surgeon

Very personable, informative, understanding, and has a great bedside manner. He was very on the ball with everything, and he made me feel really comfortable. He even ordered different profile implants for me two days prior to surgery because I had decided to go with ultra high profile at the last minute! Cool guy, and I highly recommend him!
