After three years of serious research I decided to apply for a personal loan and have breast augmentation. I called Dr. Weider's office to schedule an appointment. I spoke with Kimber over the phone where she was able to answer some of my first questions and schedule me an appointment fairly quickly. I made it to the office where I met Kimber in person who took my basic information and answered more of my questions. Dr. Weider came in did my measurements and asked me some questions. He was real with me on the expectations and fitting me with the appropriate size implants with the goal of reaching my desired requests. They were both warm and welcoming. I decided to schedule my surgery that day, (the following week).

It’s been six months since my surgery. Everything went amazing with Dr. Weider and his staff. My incisions healed very well. They are smooth to the touch and you can’t feel them there. They closed them with glue and inside sutures. With the glue your able to shower like normal right away. That was nice. It took about 4 weeks for them to heal up and by 8 weeks I could feel pain from them less to not at all. I had a little more work done on my left side pocket wise. I experienced more nerve pain with that side because of it. The nerve pain was intermittent and more of a stinging discomfort than actual pain. I’d say I had “good boob days” and “bad boob days”. Mostly good. On the bad days I’d take an Ibuprofen and apply Aspercreme to that boob. The Aspercreme worked well. I do still feel some nerve pain on my left every once in a while, but this could take months to a year to fully subside. When you have very little tissue to start and you insert a large implant you stretch the nerves more so they take longer to heal.

Surgery
Other than intermittent nerve pain, never more than a 6 on a 1-10 scale, I felt really no pain. I have a high tolerance to pain though. I'm also allergic to most pain medications. So I did not take the prescription for the Norco's I just got them to give me extra valIum . I guess my biggest fear was being nauseous from the anesthesia and pain medication they give before and during the surgery. They made arrangements so that when I woke up I wasn't nauseous at all. It was amazing. I got by on the Valium and aspercream. The operating room is in his office so it's convenient, that it's all in one place, same for the lab for your blood work. Just down the hall.
