1 day Post Op
I woke up this morning about 6:30 am, pain pain pain.. omg pain.
I was so stiff from being asleep, soon realized that I had to move around in order to stop my muscles from seizing. Honestly staying still for too long probably causes more pain and discomfort than moving around does.
I had my 1st post op appointment this morning, I got my first look at my boobs and incisions. Everything looked great. Boobs are stiff and sitting high. Went over a few things like showing, driving, going back to work and changing my dressing.
Next appointment is set for 9/10 days out.
Oh and they gave me this horrible pressure band that has to sit on top of my chest. Can’t wait to burn it, it’s horrible.
Oh and I’m super super bloated, is that normal?
Few pics!

My surgery was yesterday!!
I was a little nervous yesterday going in in and out of sleep the night before probably a mix of excitement and nerves.
I left around 6:30am to get to my appointment for 7:30. BA surgery was scheduled for 8:30am.
Once I was called into the pre op room (I think her name was Lauren) Gave me a gown to put on after getting undressed and asked me to pee in a cup.. that took a while because I definitely had 3 nervous pees before I left the house and totally forgot I had to pee in a cup.
She took my blood pressure and fixed my IV, she was great and kept me excited, hubby was with me keeping busy with his homework.
The anesthesiologists came in to talk to me and introduce him self, just to reassure he would be there the entire time monitoring me while I was under (he was also great)
A little while later Dr Mantooth came in to go over a few final things and marked me up.
After being there about 45 mins - 1hr the anesthesiologist came back to walk me into the surgery room, I hopped on the bed and nearly fell off LOL (great start) and then all the lovely ladies tucked me in all cozy.
I remember laying in the bed thinking “oh [RS bleep]” this is finally it. I think the anesthesiologist could tell I was nervous, I remember him saying, Hey Hazal, can you make me a promise? I asked him, a promise? What promise? He said “promise me when you wake up that you smile” I said I’ll try but I can’t promise you.. he said “well if you don’t, Lauren will give you one of these (and tapped his elbow with the palm of his hand) LOL, I said.. well which ones Lauren (still not 100% sure if that’s her name lol) everyone laughed and my nerves had calmed.
The anesthesiologist told me to take in 3 deep breathes, I remember taking 2 and then woke up to someone putting my leggings on lol. I was so confused and I was crying. Honestly I had no idea what was going on, why I was crying I was just confused and forgot all about my surgery lol. Then I remember seeing my hubby recording me and the nurse trying to talk to me, I watched the video and I just look completely out of it lol.
Anyway 1st day post op went by pretty quickly felt tightness and pressure, I was trying to keep my self up and moving so I didn’t stiffen but all in all, I was pretty drugged up to think about the pain.

Finally updating!!
I’ve been terrible at updating but busy reading everyone’s stories..
So after my initial consultation back in Nov 2018, I had scheduled my surgery for Feb 25th. Well, usually my kids spend time with their Mimi for a month here and there throughout the year (I know, lucky right!) she had asked if they could spend the month of Easter with her and their nephews so I figured it would be the best time to have my surgery.
I was able to reschedule with no issues, I have to say, my PS was amazing along with his office staff. Made me feel right at home!
Anyway, I may have previously mentioned, after deciding with the 415cc moderate profile and reviewing everyone’s stories, I just knew I was going to be unsatisfied with the results and would have the ultimate boob greed!
I had my pre op March 27th, Jennie was absolutely amazing, she understood exactly what I wanted and we decided to go with the 475cc mentor Xtra high profile (I know big difference, but what’s the point in going for it if you’re not going to go for it!)
I was given my prescriptions and some information on what to expect and pretty much left counting down my days until my surgery. I got nervous on the final days creeping up, more so about the anesthesia.
Adding a few before pics.
