After my 5th child I had began to lose volume in my breasts. I was always small breasted but was now beginning to not only be smaller but saggy too. When my last child stopped breast feeding I had dropped a cup size to a full B. I was not happy with how my breasts looked. I had worked out but could not get the volume back. Long story short, I had stalked Dr. Goldman for at least a year before reaching out to him. I had looked into 2 other doctors in my area. However, the reason why I went with Dr. Goldman was because of how up front he was with the risks of breast augmentation. On his website he goes into detail of the whole thing from beginning to end. He is very thorough with the risks and his way of doing things as well as his background. I finally reached out to his office through RealSelf back in December of 2018. Then I gained the courage to actually set up a consultation and meet him. It was amazing. His staff made me feel so comfortable. They took the pictures and I met with him soon after. No long wait at all. He was very pleasant, straight to the point, informative, and patient. No time was wasted nor was I rushed. I felt very comfortable with him.

On Thursday, May 2, 2019 I went in for the surgery. Dr. Goldman had picked everything for me at my request because I trusted is judgement and his experience. There was no long wait. His staff made me feel like I was with my close friends. They were very warm and compassionate. They let me know the details every step of the way. Dr. Goldman came in, marked me up, answered any more questions I had, and off I went. All I could remember was getting into position on the table. When I woke up I was back in the recovery room. The procedure was less then 2 hours. My daughter was already there discussing my care with the staff. I had no pain at all. I just felt like I was engorged after missing a feeding session when I use to breast feed. and I was very sleepy.

When I got home I had to eat some food before taking my pain pills which I had filled a week before surgery. I was taking Vicodin and Percocet every

4 hours and an antibiotic. I took the Vicodin during the day and the Percocet during the night. Soon after getting home I was walking for 10 minutes, doing 10 arm circles, and deep breathing 10 x every waking hour as instructed by Dr. Goldman and his staff. I had been sleeping in an upright position on my back since the surgery and have worn no bra as instructed. Four days later and, thank God, I am still in no pain. I have no bruising either. However, I am very swollen. I went with textured, round, full C silicone implants. I love them! I feel like a woman again. Even though they are swollen I can see the potential. I know that I will fit into those dresses and tops that have been sitting in my closet for the last 5 years collecting dust because I no longer fit the boobs. Dr. Goldman even called me later after the surgery to check in on me. I think that because of his after care is the reason why I am not in any pain. I was able to walk to my daughters school today and back with no problem. This Dr. and his staff was the most compassionate group I have met in the medical field thus far. I defiantly recommend Dr. Steven Goldman and his staff to anyone looking or thinking about breast augmentation.

2 week follow up

emilymcortes
It has been 2 weeks since my surgery. I finished my pain pills the middle of last week. Also had a 1 week follow up with the nurse. All was well. She had instructed me to wear no bra, apply antibiotic ointment to incision 2x a day, and apply gentle pressure to the sides of my breasts for about 10 seconds 3x a day.

I used shea butter as more than 3x a day. I did the pushing to the sides of my breasts and it felt so tender - like bruising. The pain, to me, still felt like I was engorged from missed nursing sessions along with the stinging you get from the engorgement.

I was able to tolerate the pain until this week. I had fell asleep on my left side with my arme under my pillow with my head on it. I slept like that for 4 hours. When I woke up my side boob felt so sore. It felt exactly like when you go without nursing a couple of sessions and praying that the baby will drink! For thise that have not experienced engorgement it is like bruised boobs with stinging. I actually had to call the doctor's office for help. They tild me to take tylenol for the pain and do nothing else. I did for 2 days just 2x and it helped alot.

Today they don't hurt. They are tender still and my nipple sensitivity reduced. It hurt a bit when my garments touched it but now it is only when I gently press them.

My side boobs is not bulging anymore and they, to me, seemed to dropped slightly.

I did go through boob depression this week because of the pain, the pressure of them (chest feels tight when I first wake up and sore), and how high up they are. But as of today, I feel better about my decision and know I have to be patient as I go through the process. The scars are a bit hard now but I have another follow up visit next week. This time with the doctor and a licensed massage therapist, as instructed by the doctor in his office. I cannot wait to see him.

FYI

Posted my before. Sorry, I deleted them before realizing I meeded them for my review. I was able to restore only 2 but you can see the BIG difference.

Amazing results! Can I ask your bra size pre and post? Also what is your height and weight and how many CC’s did you get? Thanks. I’m going in a week to get mine and I’m very curious.

Scar Massage/Pop

emilymcortes
Everything is been going well. Boobs still ha e not dropped and fluffed fully but they are not as high. Saw Dr. Goldman and it was as though I was visiting a friend. He told me all is looking good. He taught me how to screeze my boobs to round them out as well as to perform scar massage and to use vitamin E or coconut oil for my scars.

So, the next day I did as he instructed. I screezed my boobs the way he showed me. Next I began the scar massage (dry). When I started to message my right side I heard a couple of pops. They sounded like bubble wrap pops. I was like, " am I hearing things?" I continued on and heard more. I freaked out and immediately called Dr. Goldman's office. Come to find out it was normal. The popping I heard was the incisions under my skin snapping. I started to laugh so hard. So, after getting off the phone I continued the dry massage and heard pop, pop, pop. I went to the other side and the same thing happened. There was no more popping so I put on the cocoa butter and left them alone. The scars became flat and stung a little.
I have been doing this daily going between cocoa butter and shea butter. No pain at all and boobs are becoming softer.

Still believe it was worth it. I feel like a woman. I love them and I am so grateful that I was blessed to be able to do this.
