Silicon Strips
All is well. Breast are beginning to look normal. They are softer. Had been doing scar massage up to about a week ago. Now doing light, small circle massage around the breasts. Dr. Goldman gave me silicone strips to put on my scares for 6 - 8 hrs a day. I put them on when I go to sleep. They are reusable. I have no pain and my nipple numbness is gone. I still would recommend Dr. Goldman and his staff to anyone and I have. Now I feel as though he and his staff are friends of mine. I feel so comfortable and happy with them and loving the process as well. In the pics are me but with a spray tan. My scars are flat and barely noticeable. I am so happy with them.
Scar Massage/Pop
Everything is been going well. Boobs still ha e not dropped and fluffed fully but they are not as high. Saw Dr. Goldman and it was as though I was visiting a friend. He told me all is looking good. He taught me how to screeze my boobs to round them out as well as to perform scar massage and to use vitamin E or coconut oil for my scars.
So, the next day I did as he instructed. I screezed my boobs the way he showed me. Next I began the scar massage (dry). When I started to message my right side I heard a couple of pops. They sounded like bubble wrap pops. I was like, " am I hearing things?" I continued on and heard more. I freaked out and immediately called Dr. Goldman's office. Come to find out it was normal. The popping I heard was the incisions under my skin snapping. I started to laugh so hard. So, after getting off the phone I continued the dry massage and heard pop, pop, pop. I went to the other side and the same thing happened. There was no more popping so I put on the cocoa butter and left them alone. The scars became flat and stung a little.
I have been doing this daily going between cocoa butter and shea butter. No pain at all and boobs are becoming softer.
Still believe it was worth it. I feel like a woman. I love them and I am so grateful that I was blessed to be able to do this.

2 week follow up
It has been 2 weeks since my surgery. I finished my pain pills the middle of last week. Also had a 1 week follow up with the nurse. All was well. She had instructed me to wear no bra, apply antibiotic ointment to incision 2x a day, and apply gentle pressure to the sides of my breasts for about 10 seconds 3x a day.
I used shea butter as more than 3x a day. I did the pushing to the sides of my breasts and it felt so tender - like bruising. The pain, to me, still felt like I was engorged from missed nursing sessions along with the stinging you get from the engorgement.
I was able to tolerate the pain until this week. I had fell asleep on my left side with my arme under my pillow with my head on it. I slept like that for 4 hours. When I woke up my side boob felt so sore. It felt exactly like when you go without nursing a couple of sessions and praying that the baby will drink! For thise that have not experienced engorgement it is like bruised boobs with stinging. I actually had to call the doctor's office for help. They tild me to take tylenol for the pain and do nothing else. I did for 2 days just 2x and it helped alot.
Today they don't hurt. They are tender still and my nipple sensitivity reduced. It hurt a bit when my garments touched it but now it is only when I gently press them.
My side boobs is not bulging anymore and they, to me, seemed to dropped slightly.
I did go through boob depression this week because of the pain, the pressure of them (chest feels tight when I first wake up and sore), and how high up they are. But as of today, I feel better about my decision and know I have to be patient as I go through the process. The scars are a bit hard now but I have another follow up visit next week. This time with the doctor and a licensed massage therapist, as instructed by the doctor in his office. I cannot wait to see him.
FYI
Posted my before. Sorry, I deleted them before realizing I meeded them for my review. I was able to restore only 2 but you can see the BIG difference.
