My Christmas present to myself!
SuzanneJ55January 22, 2019
WORTH IT$6,600
After conducting exhaustive research on doctors and the procedure’s risks and benefits, studying countless reviews and boobie pics, talking to women who have had it done and undergoing three different consultations over the three years,I finally decided to make the jump and schedule my breast augmentation, which took place on Dec. 12, 2018. I’m nearly at the six week mark and I’m very happy with my results so far!
My case was a bit complex since I had very little breast tissue and had a moderately contracted breast and a narrow BWD. My doctor did an excellent job lowering my folds and totally reshaping my breasts. I went with Nautrelle Inspira 420 UHP, which was the biggest I could do with my frame. I’m very happy with the size.

Photos - 3 weeks P.O. on Maui vacation

I had a one-week vacation in Maui scheduled three weeks after my surgery and was concerned I would be sore or wouldn't be able to participate in any of the activities that my boyfriend and daughter would be doing. I didn't experience any discomfort on the 5 hour plane ride and had a great time, although I did take it easy with the swimming in the ocean - I went snorkeling one time with a weighted belt around my waist so I didn't need to use my arms to stay upright. No issues with taking small hikes or walks along the beach (1-3 miles)

Penicillin Allergy + Antibiotics following BA
SuzanneJ55January 24, 2019
One worry I had in the weeks leading up to my surgery was that I had always been told throughout childhood that I had an allergy to penicillin - although my mother could not really remember what the reaction was (not an emergency situation). I did a lot of research about the kinds of antibiotics that are given through IV prior to surgery, and I discovered that Ancef is the most commonly used antibiotic and the one that seems to be the most harmless to the body compared to alternatives like Cipro. However, I was concerned that I may have a reaction to Ancef, since I'd read that 10% of patients with a penicillin allergy have a reaction to Ancef. But after getting a lot of good counsel from doctors on this site, plus talking at length to the anesthesiologist in Dr. Corbin's office, I felt much better about my chances taking Ancef - learning that about 90% of patients who say they have a childhood allergy to penicillin actually don't have one as an adult. In any case, I was given Ancef IV and Keflex following surgery and had NO issues at all with either. Just wanted to share in case anyone else has been in my shoes!
