3 weeks post op, slight weeping from right incision

Sh4mmy
WORTH IT
I’m 3 weeks post op, had my dressings removed a week ago. I’ve been healing really well until last night when I noticed a slight yellow weeping on my right breast, is this normal? I’m feeling ok in myself but clearly just worrying now. I’ve emailed my PS and so hopefully he gets back to me today. Pics are of last night and then this morning.

What did your surgeon say? I would Say yelllow weeping isn’t normal so far out from the op - however they do use iodine during the op?! Maybe it’s remnants of that- as I was covered in yellow after? [RS bleep]

12 days post op and first day back in the office

Sh4mmy
So today is the first day back in the office since I had my op, I worked from home for 3 days last week and then had a long weekend so have had quite a while to relax. Since getting home however I’ve been having shooting pains in both my breasts and my nipples are feeling sensitive around where the incisions where made, am hoping this is normal??
I have my first post op check up on Friday so not too many days to wait but will all my PS tomorrow to double check. Just feeling w little concerned now ????

Congratulations!!! As I said on my review nipple tenderness is quite normal- it’s bruised! It lasts quite a long time - my vertical incisions still feel tender if I rub them hard to massage! It will pass. Keep your head up xxxx

Thank you for the reassurance, it’s more around the nipple incisions that it’s sore but I guess that’s to be expected! Dressings are coming off today, super nervous xx

Thanks for sharing your BA journey. Yes, the nipple sensitivity is REAL. It wakes me up at night. I had my sutures removed yesterday and it was very painless. I expected the worst and there was actually no pain. What product/ medication are you currently using on your incisions?

I still have my original dressings on, they’re very minimal though and so I’m not currently using anything on my incisions, my stitches are dissolvable too which is a good thing. I’ll update once I’ve had my appointment x
