6 weeks!
WORTH IT
Okay so I wanted to wait a little while before I posted an update with enough change to be able to tell a difference! Today marks 6 weeks post op. I'll post photos of what they looked like at one week post op versus today. Such a difference. They are way softer, finally. However my left side is much softer and squishier than my right. A couple of weeks ago when I went to go see my post op nurse, she said it was completely normal because I use my right hand predominantly. Does anybody who experienced this know how long it should take for the stubborn one to finally catch up? It is quite noticeable to me, although I'm not too worried about it yet.
At first my incisions were slightly raised/light pink-ish. Now they have flattened out but still feel hard to the touch, but from the inside, if that makes sense. The line of the incision is darker now as well, although this has improved over the last week. I've been using silicone sheets on the incisions as recommended by the nurse.
I'm so so happy with my results so far. The only thing that I struggle with is wearing low cut/chest exposing shirts. My boobs are still high up and need more time to drop, so they definitely look fake in clothes that don't cover up the cleavage area. Other than that, there isn't a drastic difference in just any shirt I wear. All my clothes fit the same. It's so subtle which is what I wanted.
Some days I wish I went bigger which I never ever dreamed I would say because I wanted to stay conservative and was so scared of going too big. But other days I feel like they are perfect.
In certain lighting they look small, other times big. I feel like they change every day its so weird!
I also did a full body workout the other day for the first time and felt slightly out of shape because I haven't been physically active in a while. Thats the one thing that tested my patience. Not being able to work out or lift things (in the beginning) was such a struggle.
My left nipple is numb/swollen, but only on the bottom half. There is also a numb patch on the same breast just under the nipple. Nurse said to touch and massage as much as I can to get sensation back.
Does anybody know what precautions I should take for being out in the sun? With the summer fast approaching here I have some trips planned soon that I worry about in terms of exposing the breasts to UV rays? Of course I plan on covering up the scars with steri strips, bandaids, sunscreen etc but what about the whole breast itself? Is there harm in wearing a bathing suit this soon?
I feel like I'm forgetting some details so if I've missed something feel free to ask me if you are interested! Will try respond as soon as possible.

Post Op Day 5
Definitely still very swollen and the boobs feel rock hard to the touch.
Hoping that the pressure starts to go down a bit soon.
I have my first post op appointment in two days where the nurse will show me how to massage and see how the healing is going etc. I'm curious to know how long this bra will have to stay on because it is super uncomfortable on the band. Will post more then!

I am curious How many cc did you get? I love the natural look :)
And also who is your surgeon?
I got 240cc in one and 265 cc in the other, because of asymmetry in my natural breasts. Surgeon is in Vancouver, BC
Dr. N. Carr
Do you know if you gor inspira (naturell/allergen) or mentor or sientra or something else? After too much research, I’ve realized “moderate” profile means very different things depending on the brand :)
Just checked ! It’s Inspira Allergan
Thanks for checking! I was just realizing that the brand actually matters - apparently a "moderate" profile in some of these other brands is actually way less projection so it's helpful to know. Anyways, my doc wants to use Inspira too. Very helpful - hoping your recovery is going smoothly and that you are still happy!
Yeah I think they are the most common/ least risky. I’m getting more excited about them every day! When is your surgery/ what size/ what is your goal?
I'm actually scheduled for next week! Currently 240, but I was wavering over the last week or so, about it maybe being too big. I'm 5'2", 108, and also much older than you at 40 years old! So I didn't want to go too big at this point in my life :) 240 also just felt huge in the office with the sizers. But, I think I'm back to thinking 240 moderate is best fit for me. 210 just seems too narrow for my 12 bwd. Like you, I really just want to fill out my existing clothes better and have a little more confidence. Thanks for sharing your story - it's making me feel better about my choice because even in the first week you look great!
Thank you!! I think 240 will still look great on you. It’s really not that big. My boobs are exactly a handful each when I cup them. I don’t know if you read the part of my review with the sizers. But I freaked out when I tried them on cause they felt SO big on my body and didn’t feel right when I put a shirt over top. Felt so top heavy. Personally I don’t think sizers are a good representation of what they will end up looking like. You have to consider that they will be under your skin and muscle. Now when I put a shirt over top you can barely tell a difference, in a good way! And obviously depending on the shirt. Best of luck !!
You look absolutely beautiful! Congratulations on your surgery, I can just imagine how gorgeous you will look even in a month after they settle in more. Excited to see our journey!
Thank you! Will continue to post updates. I'm excited to see the progress, hard to be patient sometimes but I know it will all be worth it!
Hi! They look great, what was the projecting you chose? Moderate ou high? I would love to see some more photos!
Hi thank you! Today marks 6 weeks and I'll be posting an update tonight. I recently realized after looking at my implant details, that one of them is actually moderate-high and the other is full. There isn't too much of a difference but since one of my breasts was smaller than the other, the full profile went into the smaller one. I haven't read many reviews that have different profiles but it was intended to fix my asymmetry!
You had beautiful breasts to begin with. In a couple of month I am sure they will look amazing!
Thanks so much! It's been over a month now and I'm so happy!

Post Op Day 3
Was told to remove the white dressings on Day 3 and OK to have a shower. It felt so weird to have them out of the surgical bra. They felt heavy and I was honestly so nervous about the shower. I wanted to put the bra back on asap cause they felt safe in it! Haha
Still lots of tightness. The mornings are definitely the worst and when I go from sitting to standing theres a weird sensation like they are heavier all of a sudden. I'm sure this will go away with time as they heal.
Still feel like foreign object.
Oh and the bloating of my stomach is intense thanks to the painkillers.
