I'm sharing my story because I wasn't able to find a lot of cases like mine when I was doing my research: small (basically nonexistent haha) wanting to stay relatively small.
I'm 29 years old, 5'7, 135lbs and have always had a very flat chest (could never fill an A cup without padding, could barely fill one WITH padding) and was just looking for a small augmentation, but desperately didn't want anything big or hugely noticeable. I basically just wanted to look the way I look with a pushup bra on, without having to wear a pushup bra. I wanted to be able to fill out a bathing suit. Simple.
I had my consultation a month ago. They had me try on 200cc first, which felt massive. When they told me that was almost the smallest size possible, I started to wonder if this was a good idea after all. I tried on 170cc instead (which is the smallest this particular office offers) and decided on that because I was so nervous.
After a little more discussion, the doctor explained that the cc doesn't really alter the projection (how far your breasts stick out in the front) but rather how full the breast is. I didn't want to end up with 2 balls at either side of my chest, so I decided to go up to 200cc before I left the consultation, and landed on 235cc a week later after doing a little more research. In the end, I went with 235cc low-plus profile Natrell implants (really wanted the natural look that nature just forgot to give me.)
I've read a lot about 'boob greed' on this site, but I think the opposite. My biggest fear was going too big.
So my surgery was yesterday! It went very very well, and so far I'm completely satisfied - although I can't take the bandages or bra off for another 5 days when I go for my follow up, which I'm dying for.
I was in a LOT of pain from the moment I woke up, which I hadn't really anticipated. Do not expect to be able to feed yourself, cut anything, lift ANYTHING, or otherwise put pressure on your chest muscles for the first couple of days. (My implant was put under the muscle.) I'm taking painkillers every 4 hours as prescribed, and definitely need them. I'm pairing them with extra strength tylenol as well. Sleeping was ok the first night. I slept on my couch which is harder than my bed, flat on my back. I woke up every 4 hours as the pain set in, but was able to fall back asleep relatively quickly after taking more pain meds.
I'll continue to update as time goes on! I hope this will be helpful for small chested girls who want to stay relatively small and modest. It's hard to say right now, but I think 235cc was absolutely perfect for me! Can't wait to see them without the bra on!

Quick update.. I'm not supposed to take the bra off until Monday but I had to peek! They're super swollen and still sitting really high. Definitely looking forward to them settling down a little so the tightness in my chest is relieved. Hard to comment on the size because of the swelling but I can already say I'm happy with anything - any improvement!

Bandages off! Feeling so much better
carly662April 15, 2019
I'd been in soo much pain the past few days. Barely slept last night. I felt like every time I would lay down they would swell up super tight and uncomfortable. At one point I opened up the bra to let them breathe and had trouble closing it back up they had swollen so much. Super glad my first follow up appointment was today. I was feeling really down this morning.
The second they took the bandages off I felt instant relief. It still feels really tight because they haven't dropped really at all yet, but a lot of the pressure released when the bandages came off. I feel a lot more free now and I absolutely love the results so far!! The doctor mentioned that I can start massaging them to help them drop into a more natural position. They're low profile implants so once they're all settled they should fall quite a bit lower I think. Next follow up is in 3 weeks!

Great results! Would love an update - I have the same stats and thinking of your size

I give you props for not getting over done! I think this is a perfect example of a smaller boob job. Totally fits your body, nice athletic shape. I love that you were sure in your self to do the low profile. Most doctors won't steer you that way. Great choice.
