Awful Looking Implants
I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Weider. Unfortunately I did not have a good outcome. He is a nice man, but my implants were the worst I've ever seen and had to be removed after only a short time.
They were supposed to be under the muscle, but were placed above the muscle without my knowledge. I had no breast tissue to start, so they were just crooked balls protruding off my chest, under my thin skin. One was very painful. The pockets were just so different from each other making me look deformed. They also weren't the right profile for my body.
As for after care etc. You basically are left to just email with the coordinator and she passes the messages to the Dr. and will fwd his response to you. I prefer speaking directly with the Dr. when it concerns my health and post-op care.
I would not recommend him for breast implant surgery. I wasted a lot of money and now have very stretched out skin from the subglandular placement. I specifically said I did not want the ball look and that is what I ended up with :(
I am currently working with another PS who believes that he can help me and he was blown away by how bad this last set looked. He said they looked like 20yr old implants that were contracted. However they were only 2 mo. old. He said the pocket dissection was very poorly done. I really hope he can help me, so I can look decent. I had several consults before picking my new Dr (all of whom agreed that this last set was not under the muscle and looked very bad) I feel good about my choice of new Dr. and hope for the best.
