1 week update

Today marks 1 week of me having my operation!

Look-wise, I don’t think they’ve changed since my previous pictures. They have never been super high and I am still tight around the sternum area. It’s like the skin is lifted of the bone thats how stretched it is. They are hard as rock and cannot be moved even a centimeter. Attaching an image i took today braless and in two random non-padded bralettes (surgical bra was taken off only for pics).

I’ve been feeling like my normal self so I have to consciously remind myself to take it easy. I am pain free except for the occasional sting somewhere randomly on my chest.

Pre op photos

Forgot to upload what i looked like before. These were all taken a week before surgery. Couldn’t fill my bra and the bikini situation is just sad. I’ve taken some before photos in different tops as well and will try them on again in a few weeks to see how they look. Can’t wait!

Day 2 & 1st post op appointment

My first appointment was scheduled 48h after surgery. My surgeon cut the bandage and said everything looks exactly how it’s supposed to. Before looking in the mirror I really prepared myself for the worst (square shaped and sitting under my collar bones), but I was sooo relieved. I think they already look great. Yes they are swollen but I’m so glad I don’t have as much swelling as some girls on here. Right now I think i picked the perfect size.

I was instructed to wear the post-op bra all the time. I don’t have to massage or wear the band that some do. I have my next appointment scheduled 14 days post op.

They don’t really hurt. It’s just uncomfortable. I only take a mild pain killer in the morning and before I go to sleep. I can’t wait for monday when I can finally shower my whole body. The worst thing right now is the stomach bloating and constipation. It’s absolutely terrible. But it seems like everyone goes through the same thing, so gotta power through.
