Anxious & Excited!!

After having 2 kids and finally getting back some level of fitness for my 44yrs I have accepted my body for all its flaws and beauty. I used to be one of those people who couldn't understand why you would have a boob job etc. But I think that came from worrying about other opinions!! I am super excited to have booked my Breast Augmentation and Labiaplasty surgery - both being done at the same time by Dr Georgina Konrat at Brisbane Cosmetics.

I've chosen 375cc high profile to give me more fullness on top - I am 6ft (183am) tall and have a big frame. Although I'm reasonably fit for my age, even at my lightest I would never be considered petite - so have always felt my breasts are too small. After several visits I didn't ask for a 'finished size' just that they be proportioned for my body.

My Labiaplasty comes from both comfort when wearing certain tight clothes (ie jeans, g-strings etc) and aesthetics - it definitely changed after child birth.

I am 4 days away and can't wait. Watch this space!!

Didn’t get a good night sleep last night - a mix of excitement and husbands snoring!! However from arrival, checking in, getting prepped and waking up post-op - everyone from hospital staff to anaesthetist were fantastic. Dr Konrat’s pre-op chat was re-assuring and comforting. No nausea waking up, just had the shakes quite a bit, but that settled by the time my husband came to pick me up. (Even the post-op sandwiches and juice were good given I was starving!!). I think the op started around 7:30-8:00am and I was going home at 1:00pm.
I went subglandular and although a little sore and tight feeling I feel really good and have been up and around in moderation. Bruising and swelling minimal at this stage.
Super happy with size, was going for slightly bigger but mostly a more full round shape. Obviously they’re sitting high at the moment but can foresee with dropping they’re what I expected.
Now for a good night sleep!!!
