An Amazing Physician
WORTH IT
I underwent a breast augmentation with Dr. Hyman in March 2019. I wanted to wait at least 6 months before writing a review, in order to assess things after a significant amount of healing has occurred.
I will start of by saying, I have never met or worked with Dr. Hyman before. I am an anesthesiologist though, and I work with plastic surgeons frequently but for my own privacy I wanted to find a surgeon I didn’t work with.
I spent a lot of time researching physicians before choosing to get my breast augmentation with Dr. Hyman. And not to digress, but I did see cheaper surgeons but this is my life and my health so I wanted to make the best decision from that point of view.
So I went to his office for a consultation. All of the staff were extremely professional and kind. In fact I actually showed up for my consultation a week before I had scheduled it because I mixed up the dates, but Dr. Hyman and his staff squeezed me in. And even despite the mix up on my end, I did not feel rushed through the appointment and felt like my concerns were fully listened to.
Once I decided to go ahead with Dr. Hyman my surgery was booked 2 weeks later. My experience as a patient completely exceeded my expectations. I did do a quick glance around the room to make sure there was appropriate anesthesia equipment (I can’t help it) in case of an emergency. Checked out the anesthesia machine, looked for the suction, the ambu bag. This is extremely important when having surgery outside of a hospital!
Anyways, once seeing that these things were in place i was made to feel extremely comfortable. The anesthesiologist was amazing, as well as the surgical technician and nurse in the room with me.
As far as the surgery went I am EXTREMELY happy with my results. This is something I had wanted to do for over a decade but wanted to wait to the point in my life where I was in a financially stable place to actually get it done without being lured by the cheapest surgeon.
I had lost a lot of weight in my first year of college and kept it off for 14 years but my breast went from a full C to small flat droopy pancakes. And it was something I was very self conscious about. I honestly can say no guy had ever seen me topless. That’s how ashamed I felt. My overall goal with this surgery was to have more volume, better shape, and to look natural. Looking natural was extremely important to me. And I can say that is what Dr. Hyman was able to achieve.
TMI but i even started dating someone seriously and he made a comment saying how lucky I am to have such beautiful natural breast! This is exactly the look I was going for!
I feel way more confident and happy. One of the best decisions I have made.
