How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Confirmation of booking
Today I received my letter from Nuffield confirming my surgery date and also requesting payment within 7 working days.
About to make the call to pay for the surgery which makes it definite it’s going to happen. Scary!
All paid for and now I just wait for my appointment for the mrsa swab.
Before paying I did just triple check there would be no hidden extra costs but all is good just 36 days to go eeeeweek.
I also spoke with the receptionist at wood clinic (James mcdiarmids office) regarding recovery. my implants will be placed over the muscle, as I have plenty of tissue to cover it, which means recovery should be a lot faster.
I’m also confused as to which size bra to buy. In my letter it said not to use a compression bra but a Soft seamless non wired bra or sports bra.
Does anyone know how to figure out which size is required

Breast Augmentation After Children
18th October Consultation day
I’ve had 3 children and now lacking volume in my breasts.
Last year I booked an appointment with Harley which left me feeling really negative about the whole procedure.
I had a consultation and was quoted for 2 things, implants and implants with a “slight lift” which I had to book the surgery and pay a deposit before I was even able to see a surgeon. When it came to seeing the surgeon he said I had to have an uplift otherwise my boobs won’t sit right with the implant. Of course that came at an extra £2500 as the price was already quite high I felt I couldn’t justify an extra 2500. (after a complaint I was able to get a full £500 refund)
I waited and waited and then I finally plucked up the courage to actually book an appointment with Nuffield.
I booked a consultation for breast uplift with implants and to discuss a mini tummy tuck.
I saw James mcdiarmid, who I felt very at ease with. He said I’m definitely not In need of an uplift and just implants would be fine to get back volume in my breasts.
He said I wouldn’t need the b-lite implants (which are 30% lighter and slightly more expensive) as im not having very big implants. He also said I would need one implant slightly bigger on one of the breasts just to bring back the symmetry.
I felt confident I was in the right hands with this surgeon as firstly he wasn’t trying to upsell anything. I also like that my appointment was directly with the surgeon not just a mandatory meeting with a consultant/sales advisor before seeing a surgeon on a separate date.
We then discussed a mini tummy tuck where I was advised to go to the gym LOL
long story short he said he could do a mini tuck but feels I could get results I’m happy with by just going to the gym. Unfortunately I guess that means to also go easy on the chocolates And cake :(
I went home feeling very positive about the whole procedure and quite excited to have it done so I called them up and booked the surgery.
I thought I would have to wait much longer but I was able to book surgery on the 4th December so that’s very exciting!!!!
Just need to work on getting into a little better shape by then.
