Active mom of 2 getting BA
WORTH IT
I used many of your reviews on here to help me take the plunge so I figured I'd start my journey to help some of you.
I'm a 28 year old mom of 2 breastfed kids. I was a C cup before kids, loved my breasts and now I'm left with a deflated A.
I'm extremely active. I'm a personal trainer, I play hockey, I lift weights 4-5x a week and run regularly. I'm hoping getting my boobs done doesn't effect my fitness too much.
Stats 5"4 and ~125 lbs
Booking two consults for November. Hoping to get them done in January!

Under vs Over for athlete?
Hoping to get some feedback from other fit ladies and their boobs. I want the implants under the muscle because they look much more natural and I don’t have much tissue to begin with to help cover the implant.
With that being said I don’t know what I’d do if I could never do push ups, pull ups or any sort of pec exercise again? Some girls say that after awhile you get used to the feeling of the implants separating while contracting your pecs, some surgeons say to avoid pec exercises completely because it increases chance of rupture?

How did your consults go? Did you select a PS? A size and profile for your BA?

My consults went well! I picked a PS. Dr Paul Whidden. He has recommended both 400 and 450 cc and I've decided to go with 400 cc as of right now. Surgery is booked for February 20! I'm sooo nervous

Surgery is happening soon!
I’ve booked in with Dr Paul Whidden! I’m scheduled to have my BA Feb 20. I’m nervous as heck and could really use some post surgery tips!
I’m definitely going to have some freezer meals prepped and ready to go. Some stool softener I heard is a must. They are giving me a surgical bra, should I get another one off amazon? If so which one? Any tips, pointers are much appreciated!
My hubby is taking 3 days off work to assist and my kids will be at my parents for 2 nights. I hope by day 4 I’m okay with my almost 2 year old and 4 year old?

I’m 28 years old I have 4 kids all under 8 yrs, my youngest is 10 months I’m 120lb and 5’3 ft. I got my BA done on Jan 15th. Everyone told me to wait till my kids are older but I couldn’t wait any longer. I was size 34c and after my last baby my breast was saggy and flat. I got 345cc Under muscles gummy bear silicone in both breasts and so far it looks amazing. I had so much help for the first 2 weeks I didn’t drive or lift any of my kids or clean my house just today I started to get back to my daily routine but I still feel something weird whenever I push or pull I hope this feeling goes away because it scares me. You will need to rest as much as possible the first week and apply ice on both sides. Also, if you have a recliner that would help you a lot and make getting up and resting easier for you. Make sure to follow ur surgeon guidelines and get as much help as you can. Overall the pain wasn’t too bad but I felt weak and tired it reminded me of when I had the flu.

Thank you for your input! We have very similar stats. Do you like your size so far?

Sometimes I say I wish I went a little bigger but when I look in the mirror I see they fit my body perfect. I didn’t even pick I let my surgeon pick the size for me. I just asked for a natural high profile look. She took my measurements and said that she will try couple sizes on me in the OR and go with whichever one she feels fit me the most.

My hubby took 3 days off too, and honestly it was quite difficult when he went back - I wasn’t expecting to feel quite as unable as I did. I have a 5 and 1 yr old - try not to lift little one if you can, and if you do - lift from your core. Be careful with the pushchair too. I had 275 cc under the muscle 4 weeks ago - i feel fine now but it did take about 10 days to start feeling more comfortable day to day. I got a couple of sports bras which zip at the front too which are a great support, once you’re ready to be out of the surgical one!

Thanks for the tip! I was considering getting another bra that zips at the front so I'll go ahead and do that!
