Absolutely Fantastic Surgeon, Very Patient and Supportive

WORTH IT
I recently had a breast enlargement surgery performed at Yorkshire Clinic by Prof Mahajan and I can’t recommend him enough. Absolutely fantastic surgeon, very patient and supportive. Through the entire process, surgery and aftercare it has been an outstanding experience. My results are amazing, I love my new breast! I have got only one regret, that I delayed the decision for many years hoping that one day I will accept my size.
Here is my story.
I am 38-years old and I always felt like my 32AA breast has never developed. When I was a teenager I was bullied by my classmates and called ‘flat’. When in my 20’s and on university I was still single as I tended to wear two padded bras to fill my clothes and I couldn’t even think about anyone seeing me without my clothes. Eventually, I did had some partners but all of them said something upsetting about my breast size. After being in a marriage for 13 years the lights had to be switched off and I slept wearing a padded bra.
During all those years I was experimenting with my body. I used homoeopathy and drank fenugreek and other herbs and even bought online some breast enlargement Pueraria Mirifica pills which I believe messed up with my hormones causing irregular painful periods and possibly endometriosis.
Did I ever consider a breast enlargement surgery? Yes, of course, but I was never able to afford one and that felt like torture. Looking at my mirror every day wanting that shape and all that stopped me from feeling like a woman was money.
Finally, I have decided to change my lifestyle to enable me to take the loan and afford repayments. My first resolution was to use markets instead of supermarkets and to buy clothing only if I need and not when I liked. That would save me about £150 a month.
After some research, I have decided to apply for a new credit card with a free 27 months balance transfer to avoid high-interest rates. Once knowing that I could afford the surgery I started my research to find out where that surgery can be performed.
There were many options and if I was to save some money I would possibly choose to fly abroad or choose a clinic advertised everywhere but away from my city. But what if I needed to be seen before my check-up? Would I want to fly or drive long miles to be seen by my surgeon? Would I have to pay additionally for my aftercare?
It was then when I decided that I will first research local clinics and check on all of the surgeons, their education, years in practice, awards and reviews. That is how I found Yorkshire Clinic and Prof Mahajan. I knew I will be safe in his hands and my breast will look amazing. I knew he won’t rush and that the clinic has all the facilities in place if things go wrong.
I can only say that on the day of my surgery the biggest concern for me was that Prof Mahajan will see me without my makeup! That says it all, I have trusted him 100%.
The whole experience was very positive, Prof Mahajan helped me to choose the size of the implant which was Mentor teardrop shape 255cc moderate plus. However, after a few days and tens of reviews, I started to think that if my breast will be too small I will regret that I didn’t go bigger but if it turns to be big then I will happily accept it. I have changed my mind from255cc moderate plus to 300cc high profile and now I can tell that my breast looks exactly how I wished it to be.
In general, my post-surgery recovery was perfect. I could feel my chest skin being tight, on the second day my side ribs very hurting so for 2 days I was on strong painkillers. From day 3 to 9, I only took ibuprofen.
On day 6 however, I have contacted Prof Mahajan as I felt bubbling in my lungs and in general felt a bit short in breath. I had an immediate response and I was asked to go to the clinic immediately!
Due to having DVT history, there was a concern that I could develop a blood clot in my lungs.
On my arrival, I was immediately seen by 3 different doctors including pulmonologist. Within just a few hours I had a blood test, x-ray and CT scan performed. Thankfully, I was fine, there were no blood clots. Probably, due to season I picked up some germs and had the cough for the next 2 days. Since then I feel wonderful.
I am 15 days post-surgery and I have no swelling, I can drive my car, I am not I pain and despite my resolution not to shop I have bought some lovely new dresses with open back and deep plunge!
My breast looks amazing! I am so happy that I did it and most importantly that I didn’t go for low price service but chose Prof Mahajan who will look after me and my new breast. I know that in case of any concerns I will be seen immediately and treated as needed.

Hi, did you had teardrop shape?
I must say that once the swelling gone down I was quite upset with the size!
It's not about the cup size as we all have different shapes and dimensions to start with. It's the projection of the implant that really matters.
By saying that I mean that 340cc can look as small as 300cc as the chest size may be different.
I had 300cc with projection 5cm and I'm between B and C depend on bra brand.
The width of my implant was 13,5cm but I would have to check that.

What's the width of your implant?

Ps. My swelling gone down in week 6 and since then the size of the breast is the same.
My surgeon said that I would have to put on weight to have them look bigger
