Abandoned Me As Soon As There Was a Problem with His Surgery.

His name should be Dr. Enteiteledbaum, he has such an umwarranted inflated ego. I have dealt with this man for over a year and gotten to know what he is like, both while he tries to sell you on new plastic surgery and what he is like after a problem develops. Before you are his patient, he is wonderful - interested, caring, comes across as competent. But beware if a problem develops. Read the reviews below that also show how unwilling he is to address any problem with his surgery. Problems do happen and a surgeon has to be able to take responsibility and help the patient. I had a breast augmentation surgery by him. One side bottomed out shortly after his surgery and was very uncomfortable. I asked Dr. Teitelbaum to fix it. At first he said yes. Then when I kept asking him to schedule me for surgery, he became evasive. Said he loved my breasts as they were. Then said nothing was wrong that surgery could fix, without explanation. He literally WALKED AWAY in the middle of our appointment, leaving me shocked and half naked in the hallway. He failed to show up for a subsequent appointment, saying afterwards that he had wanted to avoid unpleasantness. Totally rude and wasted my time. He did everything he could to make me go away. I finally sought other care. My bottoming out was confirmed by two doctors and an ultrasound. There is almost a 1" difference between my right and left implants now - you can see it through clothes (that may not sound like a lot but it is on me). I showed the ultrasound to Dr. Teitelbaum and he claimed not to understand bottoming out - even though he says he is a professor of plastic surgery! He is either ignorant or underhanded. Either way, these are not qualities you want in your surgeon. He is not how he presents himself up front. I am now getting quotes for a revision elsewhere. The doctors I have spoken with are straightforward, and do not even charge Dr. Teitelbaum's inflated prices. I paid Dr. Teitelbaum $18,000 for a surgery he would not stand behind. Don't make the same mistake. He is only after the money. Learn from my experience and do not waste your money on this arrogant man. You want someone who won't abandon you if something goes wrong. This is not your guy.
