I’m almost two weeks post op and I can honestly say the communication throughout this entire process has been amazing. Even now, being 13 days post op and going on 14 days tomorrow, I still have a billion questions and I call or email, and I always get a response the same day. If they don’t respond immediately, they make sure to get back to me within a couple of hours and sometimes even sooner. I never felt annoying or rushed at any point.
Dr. Neusner was extremely helpful and attentive. I explained all of my concerns and what I wanted, and he worked with me to figure out what would realistically give me the results I was looking for. His bedside manner is great and he took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He also followed up with me about three days after surgery to make sure I was doing okay, which I really appreciated.
I’m still in the healing phase, so I am swollen and experiencing some pain, which is completely normal at this stage. During this time, the team has been very reassuring and explained that during the healing process it is normal for one side to heal faster than the other, and that some asymmetry early on is nothing to be alarmed about. That reassurance really put me at ease, especially during such a vulnerable post op period when swelling and bloating can make you anxious about your results.
From the consultation to surgery day, everything felt very organized and thorough. I spoke with the coordinator about my goals, then directly with Dr. Neusner, and on surgery day I spoke with the nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Neusner again. Everything was explained multiple times to make sure I felt comfortable and informed. Overall, my experience has been very positive and I feel genuinely cared for throughout this entire process. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Neusner and his team.
