65 Yrs Old and Finally Did It! So Happy!

WORTH IT
I am a 65 year old woman who finally had a breast augmentation and I could not be happier. I am 6 days post op. Never needed any pain reliever stronger than extra strength Tylenol. Dr Lui was amazing. My post op is tomorrow but so far everything seems to be healing wonderfully.

It’s been a little over 6 weeks and I am still loving my new girls. I dealt with pain a little longer than I expected but the pain is gone and I am back to doing upper body workouts (not doing planks or pushups yet). I was cleared for wearing any bra I want. Still waiting to go bra shopping for when they fully drop and fluff. Scars are fading nicely.
Doing my daily exercises and find that they are getting much softer. It’s SO nice to chose any top in my closet and they look great. First time in my life I’ve had some cleavage and it feels great. I never realized how hard I worked to make my clothes look good and to make my upper body look proportionate to the rest of my body.
Unfortunately, I am in two walking boots due two separate falsl and have broken bones in my feet. (It was interesting dealing with two broken feet and recovering from breast surgery at the same time - yikes). My workouts are done seated these days. Since my first injury, I’ve gained 10 pounds. It’s the first time I don’t really care. In the past, it was always a struggle to keep my belly flatter than my boobs LOL.
Good luck to all of you on your decisions and your surgery if you proceed. I know some people think I should have gone larger but I got exactly what I wanted and I’m thrilled. You do you!

I think you look great that size, I had my implants removed a couple years ago, I am 63 in great shape but COMPLETELY flat, no breasts at all after that implant remove, he did a complete mastectomy and I do not know why, he said I had no breast tissue, well I did 35 years ago when they were put in, so here I sit flat as a board. I would like about what you got no bigger, I am in great shape, 5’6” 124lbs. So I found a surgeon here in Marin, for 9K under muscle. Which they were above before.

My surgeon wants me to look at pictures instead of giving him the size that I want to look like he would have me go bigger than I want to be. You look good that size I wouldn’t want any bigger. Did you do under the muscle or over he’s going to have to do under as I mentioned for me because there’s nothing there anymore Question for you so do all your shirts glasses but not zip ups do they all still fit after the surgery and may I ask? What size bra now is that a C cup?

My surgeon is conservative and totally got it when I said I just wanted to fill a bra and not have to wear a padded bra. We went with 250 cc under the muscle. It’s my understanding under the muscle is more natural looking.
I am wearing all the same shirts but they look a heck of a lot better and no padded bra. As for bra size, my old sports bras are all fine for working out. I think I am now a 34 or 36 large B or small C. Depends on the bra. Haven’t bought new ones awaiting my final size. Some old bras look great and some don’t depending on the style. The gray bra in the pic is an old one - 36B. Never fit like that before
