Bottoming out

Glorious945
$7,200
After about 5 months, I have noticed that my left implant is clearly lower than my right. When my arms are raised I see that the scar is not where it’s supposed to sit and my nipples are pointed upwards which is a tell tale sign of bottoming out. I’m going to revisit doctor Nichter to see what he says.

I have bottomed out on the left side and was told that right has capsulated. Planning on getting it fixed after summer.

I hope it works out! Would you still recommend Dr Nichter?

Yes. He's a great doctor but it was unfortunate that I bottomed out

I'm sorry you may have to get them redone. Best wishes!

So far I love my new boobs. They have softened up a lot and the scars are slowly turning pink. Since I live in Southern California I have been taping up my scars with Hy tape with spf 50 to protect the scars from the sun. All of my friends and family barely noticed I got a boob job but they do say that it’s very natural looking and it fits my frame perfectly. I am glad that I let my surgeon operate and choose my size for me and I am very happy with the end result. Still waiting for my boobs to fluff out a little bit but overall my surgeon says that this is how it’s going to look like from now on.

Thank you for posting about your experience! I’m thinking about going with 255cc or 235cc sientra moderate plus implants in early April. We have a similar body type, so your post helps a ton! I just have some questions if you don’t mind answering them: Do you know what bra size you are now? Do you feel fully healed now?

Hi! I was debating on whether I should go 235 or 255cc and ultimately I let my surgeon choose for me based on my wish pics. To be honest there's not a big difference between the two but in my opinion you should just size a little because you will get boob greed. I am currently a 32C at Victoria secret. I can fit both a 34B and a 32D depending on how padded the bra is. Overall I'd say that I am a small C. Hope this helps!

I forgot to add that I felt fully healed by the end of week one. But I had to take it easy on lifting things til week 3.

Thank you so much for responding!! This really helps a ton. I’m planning to just take 1 week off from work right now. Do you have all feeling back now? I think in the previous post you mentioned that you were experiencing some numbness. If you can provide any information you think is useful in general, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks again!

Happy to help! In regards to breasts and nipples feeling numb, I am slowly gaining back some feeling in the surrounding areas of my breasts and my nipples are currently sensitive but not numb anymore. You may feel some numbness after surgery but according to my doctor it takes upwards to a year for feeling to fully return. My advice for pre surgery would be to take arnica supplements for bruising and practice sleeping on your back until surgery. I think the hardest part of recovery for me would be sleeping elevated. Good luck with your surgery!

Your BA has amazing results! I just did 280cc sientra and wishing I went down to 250-260. I don’t know if it would make that big of a difference but I just feel huge with my small frame 5’3 106lbs! Still swollen at 10 days post op so hoping they drop and become more natural looking... I wish I had seen yours before!

20cc isn't that big of a difference if you really look at it. I believe 20cc is about the size of two table spoons. I am sorry that you are wishing you went a little smaller. I'm sure you'll grow to love it more when you are fully healed. At the two month mark my breasts have dropped and the swelling has gone down and everyone thinks they're natural!

They look amazing!!! I'm getting 250cc mod plus and I am so worried Its going to look to big for my frame. I'm very small. Like 95lbs. Always have been. The day I gave birth I was full term and 135lbs. My mom is around 110 120 so I'm not gonna grow anymore lol I'll be 26 on April 22nd and thats also the date for my BA! SO EXCITED!!! could you post some more pictures? And are the mentor silicone gel?

250cc is not big at all and I think it fits my slim Asian frame. If you are starting off with an A cup like me then you will not be any bigger than my post op size. I will post some pics of me in bralettes and bikinis for reference. Also I got sientra mod plus silicon gummy bear gel.
