550cc Smooth, Round HP Breast Implants
Sorry for the incomplete review. I thought I was just saving a draft and would finish it later! Anyway, about my boobs....I have 550cc silicone implants, Mentor, smooth, round, high profile. They were placed under the muscle.
I'm 31 years old, soon to be 32, with three children (breastfed two). I'm 5'3'' and about 110 lbs. My measurements are: 38'' bust, 24" waist, and 34'' hips. Each of my breasts measures 10.5'' across. Before breast implants, my bra size was a 32B. Most of my bras now are 32DDD. I have a few 30G bras that fit very well too, but they are harder to find in store.
A little background info about me....I knew from a young age, probably my early teens, that I wanted big boobs. I was definitely envious of girls in my class who matured more quickly. By my early twenties, it was obvious I had not won the big boob genes lottery :P
I married young at 22, and by the age of 27 I'd given birth to my third child. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are crazy on boobs! My breasts fluctuated greatly in size, but after my third child my boobs returned to about the same size as they were before my first child, just a bit droopier.
I divorced at 29, and about a year later I started dating again. But I had become very self conscious about my breasts when getting intimate with a new partner. I wore padded bras routinely, and I was afraid that if I took off my bra, my partner would be disappointed that my boobs were not as advertised. So, often I would leave my bra on during sex. And when I took my bra off, I was so worried about what my partner was thinking that I couldn't orgasm, which was never a problem with my ex-husband and partners previous to him. Basically, I couldn't get out of my own head.
So, after years of wanting big boobs, I finally made the decision to do something about it. At my consultation, I tried on different sizers and found that I definitely preferred the larger sizes. My surgeon said I had enough breast tissue that I could safely handle up to 550cc implants and still expect a good result that would last. Any bigger than that and the risk of complications and a poor result would go up. I agreed on 550cc HP silicone implants and we booked the surgery for January 10th!
My surgery went very well and my recovery wasn't too bad. I found that by day three I didn't need the prescription pain pills and could get through the day with just ibuprofen. I still couldn't do things like raise my arms without discomfort, but if I took it easy I was ok. I had a good friend almost living with me for the first week or so, which was a huge help with the kids. My surgery was on a Friday, and by the following weekend I was feeling good enough to do most anything as long as I did it slowly and deliberately. I still had a strong feeling of tightness in my chest, but not really pain. I went back to work (I'm a licensed massage therapist) on January 20. During my first week back, I only served clients who had booked massages or procedures that did not require forceful movements or high intensity manipulation. But by the end of that week, I felt fine and I was ready to resume my normal workload the next week.
By the start of February, I was also ready to resume my dating life! I excitedly updated my dating site profile pics and got back on the horse. I must say, my breast implants have improved my confidence in just about every respect, but especially in the bedroom. I no longer dread removing my bra. Instead, I proudly show off my new boobs! When I take off my clothes, I can instantly see the excitement on a guy's face (and elsewhere!), and it allows me to relax and really enjoy sex again. Plus, there are fun things you can do with big boobs that you just can't do with small breasts. You girls who already have implants know what I'm talking about!
Now almost four months post surgery, I can definitely say getting breast implants was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I would do it again in a heartbeat. There's a reason it is the cosmetic procedure with the highest patient satisfaction rate. I have gained so much confidence, and my general mood and well being has improved a ton. I love the way I look, and that itself has a great impact on the way I approach life. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.
