2 week update

Today marks two weeks since my procedure. I am feeling pretty much back to normal. I still feel a little tightness but they are starting to drop and soften. The left is slower than the right but my surgeon said this is normal. My scars are looking good and I started putting mederma cream on every day. They feel like a good size on me. They don’t feel heavy, out of proportion or in my way. I am really happy so far!

Day 5

Feeling pretty good today. Yesterday I did way too much and by the end of the day I was feeling exhausted and emotional. It was a good reminder that I am still very much in the early days of healing and that I need to take things slow. I also expected an emotional crash at some point!! Pain wise I am still taking Tylenol regularly. My breasts feel tight and swollen still, but they are starting to soften up and drop. The left breast seems a little slower than the right. I am continuing to wear the compression band to help the dropping process.

Day 2

Feeling pretty good today. I am only taking Tylenol for the pain. It feels like my breasts are engorged with breast milk! I can move my arms pretty freely and I managed to have a shower this morning which felt heavenly! My breasts are sitting high and are a little boxy looking, but I expected them to look a little odd in the beginning. They are completely numb which feels weird. Overall I am happy with the results so far and look forward to seeing how they change over the coming months.
