ORIGINAL POST

5'3, 105lbs 275cc vs 300cc Mod Plus

WORTH IT
The obsession over 275cc vs 300cc continues for what seems like forever now. I have a quite petite frame with a slim athletic build. I had a consultation with my dr and we agreed on mod+ because I don't want too much projection but I'm also not wide enough for moderate. All the pictures of 300+cc I've seen are so different from one another which confuses me even more!! My preop is next week and my surgery is already scheduled on 07/22. The big day is almost here only 19 more days to go, not like I'm counting down here!! Here's some wish pics I found.

300cc looks different on everyone bc it varies based on bwd. BA only enhances your current breast. Your results are based on bwd, skin elasticity, stats and your anatomy. So 300 could look quite large on one person and small on another. Most reviews I've read, tall ladies can handle larger sizes. Things can greatly vary and it's important for your PS to explain this. Sometimes if they need to lower your IMF, you can develop double bubble or bottom out. Just a few tips I've learned over the years reading reviews. Looking forward to seeing your results. Please post b&a photos as they are very helpful in reviews. Take care and keep us updated. :-)

Thank you for the advice!!

So advice from someone who had the same debate!! Talking with my Dr. it's only a 5 tablespoon difference between the two. I actually even tried on both of the implants on and I could not even tell what one was the 275 or 300!

What are your stats and what cc are you looking at?
July 6, 2020
Im 5'3, 114 lb, starting at A cup. my doctor advised 260 cc from range of 260, 275 cc and 290 cc, Motiva mini profile. My doctor has a very natural aesthetic and we settled for 275cc. My BWD is 12 cm. I'm 3rd day post op, and recovery is harder than expected.

Will you be posting a review? I hope you feel better soon!

Hi I will be soon. I didn't realize this operation was harder than expected, after watching all the YT videos U would think it's tolerable. u really do need a support person with u for the first week. I couldn't wash my hair and my bf had to clean me. Having to sleep on my back was difficult since im a side sleeper, also need to sleep on 30 degree decline for about a week. Have lots of pillows ready and don't sleep in a soft bed. Also, ur body will feel feverish for the first 3-5 days since ur body will be inflamed, drink lots of water and have lots of sleep, as the body needs time to recover. I took 2 days off work and day 4 of post op I have to get back to work. If I could, I would take entire week off to heal. I think healing for me is difficult cuz I chose to do axiliary (armpit) instead of inframmary position (underboob). In hindsight, I should have chosen under boob incision for a faster recovery, and also since I'm an active person. I didn't like scars on boobs but I think laser treatment will take care of it. My position is subglandular (over the muscle) since i weight train and it's supposedly less painful also less invasive cuz u don't cut through the muscles. Hope this helps

I’m so sorry you’re recovery has been so difficult. Not sure if you’re already on it but arnica gel and arnica pills help tremendously on the swelling and bruising. The gel immediately helped relieve the pain in my breasts and bruising significantly went away after two days of using it. I went through my armpit but went under the muscle and had a pretty easy recovery other than the soreness and tightness. I’ve used arnica when I’ve had other injuries as well and it is seriously a miracle herbal remedy!

I just went through my BA surgery a month and a half ago and I was teetering between cc’s. At the end of the day my doctor explained to me that 25ccs wasn’t going to make a huge difference so I ended up going with 355ccs mod+ Sientra which was the highest I was considering and I LOVE them. I’m 5’4, 118lbs and I had A cup starting off. I was going to go with lower cc’s but decided on 355 bc of how little difference it made and I was scared I was going too small. I wanted an extremely natural look but I wanted a good size too. It’s hard to look at other pictures bc it really depends on the individual body and how they end up looking. Hope this helps!

We actually have really similar before stats! I got 385 high profile and I'm now a 32D or DD depending where I get the bra from. Honestly sometimes I wish I went bigger... I have a bunch of photos on my review as well

My left side is noticeably smaller than my right but my Dr said if I chose 2 different sizes then my left would end up looking bigger than my right? Idk I might consult this with him again during my preop. If any of you were in this situation and have any advice pls send em my way!

Hey girl!! I got 305 mod plus and I'm obsessed with them. They look so natural, go look on my page :)

You'll hardly know the difference, if at all. However.....When in doubt, go bigger.
July 9, 2020
when in doubt go bigger?
my dear are you concious of the weight?....Do what youre comfortable with, youre the one thats going to deal with all the after effects and yes they are heavy...so if youre petite id suggest being reasonable over insatiable

Well cvaz777, yes. As a woman who has had breasts my entire life, I'm well aware of "the weight". If you read though reviews time and time again, MOST say they wish they went bigger. Flowery23 is asking advice, and I am giving MINE. The question is a difference of 25cc's. Thats 0.055lbs. As I stated, hardly noticeable.
In addition to having reasonably large natural breasts my entire life, I always wanted a lift. At age 52 I finally did a lift (lollipop) and had 375cc Mentor Smooth Mod+ extra. I was at the time a large B small C as my weight was down and holding. I wanted to be a D'ish. I also was asymmetrical like flowery23, and requested different sized implants to fix it. My original surgeon (who botched me horribly) said he would fix that with the lift. flowery 23 doesn't need a lift... anyhow, my results were HORRIBLE. I was far more asymmetrical then I started (my smaller side being even SMALLER) and my implants didn't even look like I had any.
So, after 2 years of research, flying across the country and back getting consultations (5 total) I went for another revision (my original surgeon did one revision on one side and made it worse) in Jan of this year. I'm now at 535 ccs on one side and 595ccs on the other smooth round HP xtra with donut lift, Interal bra and Strattice on both sides.
I think I am qualified to give my opinion.

I did different sizes and profiles for a higher degree of asymmetry and they came out amazing. Trust your doc ;)

I misread what you wrote. If you are doing silicone and go bigger on side the diameter of the implant will be larger.. prob what your doc was referring too. The difference for you is hardly noticeable . You will have a great result I'm sure !
