WORTH IT$4,470
I was hesitant to write a review because this still doesn't feel real. After years of wishing and wanting I finally took the plunge and scheduled surgery! I'm a mom of four and I always get major guilt when I do anything for myself, but I decided It. Is. Time.
So I'm scheduled for July 22 and I'm spending the next couple of weeks trying to get prepared. I'll be traveling about 4hrs out of town to my preferred surgeon. My husband and I will stay the night in Birmingham, I'll have surgery, then we'll drive home as soon as we are cleared. That's the plan anyways. I've tried on rice sizers a bazillion times and I'm pretty confident in choosing 275cc, but I'll leave the final decision to my surgeon. I just want to look proportionate and after following this dr for years I trust him to give me what I'm looking for.
So back to preparing... Ive gotten a front zip bra, comfy post op clothes, plenty of pillows, straws, and things to make life easier during recovery, but I'm a little lost on all of the extra vitamins and creams used. Are they worth it? Any suggestions on where to get these things? Am I forgetting anything else?!

I ended up with 275cc Mentor MemoryGel with smooth round moderate plus profile. I’m already loving them!
Trying to eat and rest now, but will update with all the details soon.

The experience

So we arrived at the surgical center at 830am and I was taken to a room alone since covid restrictions don’t allow guests to come with you. I was only in my room for maybe 30 minutes before the surgeon came in, marked on my chest and explained his plan with me. I told him I wanted 275cc and he said he would decide what profile would fit me best. Maybe 15 minutes later I met the anesthesiologists and he gave me medicine through my iv. We walked a couple feet down the hall to the operating room where I laid down and that’s the last I remember. I woke up in recovery with a heater blowing into my blanket which was great since I felt like I was freezing to death. The nurse helped dress me and by 11am I was wheeled outside to my husband. There was pain. A good bit of it, but not excruciating. We decided to make the 3 1/2 hour drive back home because I just wanted my bed. I took a pain pill and just about slept the whole way home. I slept off and on until 7 this morning and I feel pretty good today. I’m able to use the bathroom alone, but needed help showering. It mostly feels like I pulled my muscles mixed with the engorgement you get when breastfeeding. I’m loving my results so far. They’re hard and high, but i was really expecting them to look funky at first. I can’t wait for the drop and fluffing.
